  3. One has to believe in God or a super power what ever name we can give to him.  He is always there to help us whenever we need him. But one has to call him "DIL SE".

    this world isnt random we evolve but there is an awareness on the molecular level that must be explained by something

  5. I do believe in God. Because everything in the Universe is just too complicated for the theory of evolution. There must be a higher power, responsible for this  meticulous creation. And since no one else cared to reach out to us and claim the responsibility for this beautiful creation other than God, so I believe in him.

  12. Yes, I believe in God. For many reasons- some quick reasons are, He has been evident in my life and the life of others. I don't mean that He has made our lives perfect, but I see how He gives and He takes away. He gives us life and He also has the right to take it away. He blesses us with relationships such as friends and more. But if it will glorify Him, he can take those relationships away as well. When I say "glorify" I mean if it will show His power, and His Love, His Holiness. Because I have seen this throughout my life and the lives of others, is only one of the many reasons I believe in God. There are many other reasons, but this one is pretty evident of His existence.

    Also, when I believed that His Son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins so that I could have a personal relationship with God, I saw so much more evidence of God in LIFE. He's all around us. God is constantly trying to get our attention. Even if it's not some huge dramatic, obvious event in your life- even the sunrise or the birds that sing in the morning, or your neighbor saying hi, God is showing He love s you and has made this day for you!

  13. No, because the concept has no logic.

    Fallacies:

    #1) Appeal to tradition= there is no reasoning behind saying that you do something just because it has been done in the past.

    #2) Anyone who makes a claim to something is obligated to prove it but, since there is no answer for this or, "reason" some simply expect you to disprove it...which is a dumb thing to say because you have just invalidated your own argument.

    #3) Finally, I know lots of people who say..."well, the universe is so complex, there must be a god!" I always asked them, well, in comparison to what? In order for something to be complex, you must first have something to compare it to. Is there a less complex universe to compare it to?

    There are more...but, alas...it's late, I'm tired.

    FIRST WE HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT WHATEVER WE DO IS ALL PLANNED BY A SUPREME BEING WHICH IS NONE OTHER THAN GOD HIMSELF.

    WE ARE JUST HIS CHILDREN OBEYING WHATEVER HE ASKS US TO DO.

People could never have been created by people.People would rather find an explanation than believe they aren't #1.If they can't prove it they'll make it up and call it the bible.Life proves God's existance every day.The human mind alone with it's vast memories,ideas,1000's of unrelated thoughts at a fraction of a second.There are certain days that only God could have created.Friends,health,materials,everyth... works out in the end,laughter,good times,love ,repitition of history,d.n.a,hurt feelings,un imaginable pain with a smile, forgivness,animals,ocean life,conscience,the way people feel when they really help people out of a tight spot.for all this I say "Thanks". Thank you whoever or whatever is responsible for all this. Instead of "whatshisface" I'll just call it GOD. Thank you god.

How can you look at the miracles in this life, the development of a baby from the union of 2 single cells, the power that is in the ocean and the amazing creatures it holds, the fact that while the world trade center housed 150,000 people on an average day, the expectations that over 50,000 would have died, yet there were less than 3000 and over 300 of those were on the planes, over 700 were men and women from New York on the police and fire departments desparately laying down their own lives to save those who were trapped.  The stories after this American tragedy were amazing:  the bus was late, the train was stopped, my relative was sick, I overslept!!! Countless creative ways that our God intervened on behalf of Americans to minimize the damages.  How can you not believe with the amazing plants and animals in our world, the endless wonder of space, The miracle of seeing a life being destroyed by drugs or other harmful behavior get rescued through forgiveness and love, to become a productive and compassionate member of our society.  People who have experienced the true forgiveness of God through His son Jesus Christ are unmistakeably changed and witnessing that is evidence enough that God truly is in existance.  I have witnessed a death and you could see the difference:  those who did not know God were inconsolable, those who had an intimate relationship with God were grieving but had the hope that comes from understanding who God is, and that death is but a temporary separation.

    God was invented by ignorant superstitious people long ago to explain phenomena they did not understand. Science is a better explanation. Also a lot of people cannot face up to their own mortality so the they subscribe to fairy tales of gods, heavens, afterlives etc and waste their lives groveling in rituals like prayer etc
