Do you believe in horoscopes?

Question

I usually do because I'm a Capricorn and you know how there's those descriptions of what Capricorns are like? Well every one of those I've read is exactly like me! And I get magazines, and they have monthly horoscopes and somehow those always turn out to be true. So I was just wondering who else believes in them!

I believe in astrology; not necessarily horoscopes.  Horoscopes are those daily things that say things like, "you'll have a lot of paperwork to do today at work".  Well, what if I'm not working or I'm not in a field where I'd need to do paperwork?  How does it apply?

But astrology?  Yes, I believe in it.  I'm also a Capricorn and everything I've read about my sign (you have to find reliable books, though) is true.

Nope. I believe the ones that are accurate are demonic. Everyone else is a wannabe. Some horoscopes are so general they can fit just about anyone. One time I read through each of the signs and some of what was written for each sign could have fit me. I once read or heard something to the effect that they're all off by about a month.

When I read this I thought it was interesting. "Serious psychology differs radically from such nonscientific competitors as astrology, graphology, fortune telling, and numerology....When put to the test, the claims of psychics, astrologers, and the like turn out to be vague or untestable and their predictions dead wrong" (psych textbook: Invitation to Psychology)
