  1. wats a global warming????

  2. actually, the most recent statistics show that the earth is cooling, not getting hotter.  in fact, the hottest year in recorded history (for weather that is) was 1998 and global temps have remained at or under that mark.  i just hope al gore gets that oscar and nobel prize shoved up his *** when the truth gets out about him and his hoax.

keep those instincts sharp, they are serving you well...

  3. Are you serious? Have you actually read any of the studies on this? We're killing the environment because of people who think the way you do.

  4. YES.

    Global warming:

  5. I believe in global warming hysteria.

The real issue is not what car you drive, recycling, or even what light bulb you use.

If what they are saying is true the issue really is that the planet cannot sustain life for this many people. If their real motive was to save the planet why aren't they sending the message that having too many babies is irresponsible?

The message they are sending is buy a new car and get 5 more MPG.  Oh making the batteries for this car is 10x worse than the gases produced by other cars but its all good we meant well.

  6. absolutely

  7. I think it's good. I could use less cold winters anyway. Keep the January and February months feeling like the summer. LOL I'm one of the people who'd rather be hot than cold anyday.

  8. It's pretty much proven by most scientists and accepted by most politicians that we are in serious danger of permanently damaging the Earth, you like to drink water? Kiss that abundant resource goodbye if that happens. How do you grow food without water? How do you get oil for your car when society's collapsing? This isn't scare mongering because do you really think that society will be the same when there are global draughts and a chronic lack of fresh water? As well as the catastrophic weather changes and flooding?

  9. I agree with you. I think it is a cycle that our Earth goes through. We have had many ice ages and great floods and it's just time for another one!

  10. yes i do

  11. No, I believe some individuals are profiting into scaring us about global warming.

  12. Yes. If you stand on black pavement where I live, next to a building, that blocks the breeze, you will quickly understand that humans have created a warmer climate.

But I believe it's good if we deal with it realisticly.

Grain alchohol is a step in the right direction. But were still cutting trees down like crazy.

GE has made great advancements in generating power. But how long will it take for all plants to convert?

    Solar applications are the answer

  13. I think the global warning debate is pointless. There are other reasons to stop using fossil fuels, like the fact that fossil fuels won't last and the pollution they produce causes serious health problems. If global warning has been caused by human industry, that would be automatically taken care of if we stopped using oil and switched to something renewable.

  14. My thoughts are I learn in early grade school... at one time millions or years ago the Earth was covered with ice. It melted and the land appeared. So if  the ice melted because of man made actions, then my question is who was around millions of years ago to cause that melting and what did they do to cause the melting.  Maybe we should learn from their mistakes and not be repeating them.  Does my answer sound somewhat crazy to you?  The theory that our actions as the people of the world , are causing the melting of the ice sounds crazy to me. This don't me I don't feel it should be studies.  Nor do I feel we shouldn't be doing everything possible to save our planet. I just feel it is a silly theory.

  15. The earth changes all the time. "Global Warming" started when the iceage ended. I'm sure the dinosours passing gas might has caused it to speed up some but thats part of life.

I do believe we should be responsable is the choices we make but not to the point everything comes to a hault.

  16. The world is turning and so is the climate. It warms up and then it cools off. The global warming situations are cyclical. That means that they will go around and around again.

  17. nobody said it was just your car. its the 8 billion cars around the globe pumping out CO2 and carbon monoxide that has been scientifically proven to deplete ozone. ever been to a chemistry class? if you mix carbon dioxide and ozone, the ozone goes bye-bye. and if the ozone goes bye-bye in the earth's atmosphere, it gets warmer.

so no, its not your car, it's everyones.

  18. once the ice age sets in, you'll change your tune.  but you'll be dead by then and only your great great great great great grandkids will have to pay the price.  so rock on in your massive H2, leave all the lights on in the house and run the hot water all day.  it won't effect you in your lifetime so what do you care?

  19. I think that it's overly simplistic to think that Billions of people can exist in the world....without making any changes to the environment.

  20. well hello are you blind, the ozone layer is damaged and its because of all the exhaust from cars, factories, etc. i totally believe we are the cause of this...this isn't a normal occurrence...nature will repair itself but only to a certain extent. this is an extreme that we need to fix. even the little things help. remember we only have one earth and one chance to live on it.

  21. you have a real bad big brother complex

global warming is real, the ozone layer has holes in it and we are killing the planet

he question is are we willing to do anything about it.

looks like gas has permenntly passed $3 per ga. and americans have not slowed their use. It's going to take more than a few hot summers to change the way we live our lives

  22. Will I think alot of it is pumped up as you do,,however we both know that gases from factories,,etc do not help.

  23. You're hillarious.  You think tons of people are making this up just to charge a tax?  You think Hybrid's and alternative sources of energy are just so we can charge you a tax on carbon?

You probably also voted for Bush I bet!

  24. i agree they need to stop s******g with our planet but at the same time we need to do our part too it is not all one sided but they need to take their part of the responsibility

  25. Of course!!!

I am overtaxed about tobacco but it adds to less harmful way than smoking gunpowder.

You must love me for that. I am american.

  26. any time some one uses spay can.or bust open a air conditioner. to scrap it .hair spray.it all goes up and helps eat a hole in the atmosphere. the polar bears and Eskimo's don't have enough ice to hunt. small islands.are singing too.it Will affect us all. soon.i have seen it here.

  27. It's not so much as a belief as the actual facts that make me realize what is going on with the planet...you just can't expect billions of people to live here and not have any effect on the environment when we're not exactly living "naturally."  Technology is a wonderful thing, but I do think that it affects the environment.

(Just on a side note...global warming has to do with extreme temperature highs and lows...not just high temperatures all the time.)

  28. YEP, but just keep ignoring the facts! It makes you seem as intelligent as those 9/11 conspiracy theorists!

  29. Yeah obviously.

If people treated the world properly then global warming wouldn't exist.

  30. I think its all stupid and I love how all these people are like lets change global warming as if they can buy something to change it...

I think we should take better care of our earth though, it will s***w our kids later..

idkk it just seems stupid to me.

Gods in control, you know.. Not us

  31. yeah i do
