I'm on the verge of cancelling my cable, I grew up just before cable TV became popular, there is a reason a television is called a boob tube, we feed off everything we see on it.

I remember when life was simpler in the 70's, even with the gas crisis back then, we were not Streesed Out , not everyother commercial was promoting drugs beyond headache meds.

today its 24/7 negative news on 125 cable channels being delivered by TV, Radio, Satillite, and Cell Phone.

no wonder we suffer from Stress, Acid Reflux, IBS, Obesity, and other mental problems on the laundry list.

The Media is controlled by the same people that control the banking industry, our medical industry.... our news has been hijacked by these money machines .

I dont trust none of them.

As I used to only read the New Straits Times my view is that it was very much a loudspeaker for the government, which is why I now get my news online and no longer read the newspapers. (Waste of my time!)

I believe the other papers are much the same.
