Of course. The body is extremely good at healing itself. Just think of everytime you cut yourself. it PHYSICALY heals on its own.

Strangely enough every time I get a cut or something it heals itself.

Yes. Every time I have an injury, it heals physically.

I wonder if you meant something like spiritual healing of physical injuries?  Many people believe that they can focus spiritual energy in such a way that it helps heal physical problems.  

This would include the 'power of prayer'.  

I believe that these methods help people feel that they are healing faster than if they did nothing.

It seems to give people hope, so I am in favor of it.

No, normally any healing done within the human body is a product of mental activity on the subconscious level. Force of will and healing through prayer consciously but indirectly affect the regeneration/healing system.
