Do you believe in abortions?

I am against them.  I believe in birth control.  However there are exceptions: To save the woman's life and/or rape.  I also believe in MANDATORY sterilization as I have personally witnessed on my job, crack addicts who get pregnant, over and over again without any thought to the child they are carrying or to birth control.  CPS is usually on hand to pick up the crack addicted baby as soon as the pig delivers.  Back out on the street, the pig continues to prostitute herself for crack and gets pregnant again.  I am not talking general mandatory sterilization, just in cases similiar to what I cited above.

Only in certain circumstances. A woman has the right to have an abortion if she has been raped or sexually abused - why should the child live on as a memory of such horrific events? In other cases though, such as the parents being too poor to raise the baby, giving the baby up for adoption would be a lot kinder than aborting the pregnancy.

No, I personally do not believe in abortion, but I am pro choice. It is a necessary evil, so to speak. Just because abortion is the wrong choice for me doesn't mean I have the right to force my values on other people.

And for the people who don't, while you have a right to that opinion, sit in on a sexual abuse trial where a 13-year old girl is knocked up by her uncle or her daddy, or the unregistered s*x-offender who moved in down the street from her school.

i think that it is okay once upon occasion..i it's just because you are stupid and got knoched up when you dont wanna then no ilt's not good.   but if you are like dirt poor and you know that the child would just have an incredibly horrible life then it's okay. to many people are getting abortions when it's not nessasary.

Yes i do..........i think it's a women's choice to give live or not because they have a p***y and actually give birth. I don't think it's up to a man to decide weather or not abortions are right. I don't think a women should continuously get pregnant and get abortions but if it's a mistake then let the women get an abortion. A lot of people might say it's a gift from God- i don't think so especially when the kid has to grow up in a broken home with both parents always arguing or just living with one parent working long hours and the kid feels neglected. Or the kid might be in a foster home or adopted, but of course that system usually doesn't work.

I believe in some cases they are ok, for example, is a woman is in the position that she is too young to physically give birth, or there is a serious issue whith being pregnant, for example, a deformity or something, I believe that is ok.

However, overall I believe abortions are kinda wrong, I mean if you just got an abortion because you don't want a kid, that's so selfish, killing a baby because you weren't safe.

I really really really disagree with abortions from 20 weeks upwards, since babies can feel, and experience emotions at that age, it's such a shame. =[

Some may argue that a fetus lacks the ability to survive on its own, so it is not a human. A two year old child, lacks the ability to live on its own. It depends on its mother to care for it. Should a mother have the right to kill her two year old child?

A fetus may lack rationality, but it has the capacity to grow into a human being one day.

Doesn't matter - it's one of those technologies that isn't going away.  If it were to become illegal in this country we'd go back to unlicensed abortion taking place in basements with rusty instruments.  Plus it would take one supreme court to change the decision of another supreme court.  Not going to happen.  It's around to stay, regardless of the picket lines and the compaints.  The decision to undergo one though, is a difficult decision each woman has to make on her own.  It's not an easy decision and I don't consider myself in a position to tell another woman how to decide.
