I don't, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so if you do or don't why or why not? And please, I breed mine, so don't freak!

  1. well, it lowers the risk of cancer for the dog if you have them spayed plus you get shocked with b*****d puppies one day while you're not looking.

  2. I just had my Siberian husky/GSD mix spayed on Thursday. i did it because I didn't want her to get pregnant, it is that simple.

  3. absolutely.  quality of life increases, they can have playmates of the opposite s*x, cancer risks decrease, and the lifespan is typically longer in an altered animal.

i have two house rabbits, a male and a female, both rescues, both altered.

  4. http://www.gomestic.com/Pets/To-Spay-or-...

    read the link

are you talking about cats and dogs? or rabbits and Guinea Pigs

as an animal lover who is well aware of how many animals (particularly cats) are euthanized in shelters every year (8 million in USA alone) I of course support spaying and neutering..

If a person is taking their pets to shows to prove they are excellent examples of the breed WORTHY of passing on their genetics.. that is different...

I would assume you are a responsible breeder who shows their pets...

read the link - it has pros and cons of spaying cats...  neat info and a place to add your own opinion at bottom or say why its okay NOT to spay

  5. As someone already said it lowers the risk of cancer. With dogs they are less likely to take off. With a male dog it also makes the dog less aggressive. If you get a male kitten neutered they are less likely to spray around your house. I would honestly say if you are not planning for them to breed you are best off having them fixed.

  6. absolutely, if you aren't breeding them why wouldn't you have them spayed/neutered? what if they do somehow get out/loose and get pregnant...

  7. Yes, is better for them, i support spaying/neutering 100 %! The only people who shouldn't have to are breeders.

  8. Yes, If they didn't then if the dog gets loose it could get a stray dog pregnant and then there will be more homeless puppies and this would continue until the world will be extremely over populated!

Sorry got a little over dramatic

  9. Yes! Females can develop severe  infections in the reproductive system that can kill them. If they are spayed, they can't get it.

Males will be calmer and not mark their territory so much and pee on furniture, etc., if they are neutered. And won't go crazy when a neighborhood female dog gets in heat.
