Do you believe in subliminal messages?

I believe whole heartedly that sublimainal messages indeed do effect certain individuals actions. Especially pertaining to violence. I believe that subjection to these messages time after time errode ones thinking, callous them and cause them to think that violence isn't so bad. A good example of what Iam talking about is doctors who work in the crash E R deptartment of a hospital.....a newbie doc. can be traumatized just seeing an injury....but on down the road in experience, he adapts, callouses over and isn't so freaked out seeing severe injury.

No.  There has been a lot of research that demonstrates subliminal messages do not work.  But, it also depends on how you define subliminal.

Yea, i think i believe in subliminal messages, and i think they really work! I heard about websites like http://www.chargedaudio.com and such that have pretty good subliminal cds. These subliminal cds are said to improve certain ailments such as  eating/sleeping disorders etc. They can also be used to make you quit smoking. I think it's really cool. just by listening to subliminal cds, you can improve yourself and be a whole load better. I have yet to try it though ((:
