  3. I do not believe in a (spiritual/metaphysical) afterlife. This does not mean that I believe there is no afterlife. Just that thoughts about an afterlife do not figure much in my way of living.

On the other hand thoughts about how I would like to be remembered after this life do figure.

  4. i do i think that there is...its almost something to look forward to after death

  5. Yes, because we don't just die, I know because I have seen ghosts

and there's life after death, we don't jut become, plant food

  6. Yes, because if you have life right now there is an after life. And science has proven it by showing the energy current in certain locations. They just don't know exactly what is going on.

  7. No, I don't.  I was raised in a church-going family, but when I started looking at what I had been taught, I realized that there was no evidence to support any of it.  So I gave up any belief of an afterlife along with my belief in a supernatural god.  I expect that when I die, I will be gone.  My personality will simply stop being.  I'm OK with that - I figure that I won't be using it any more.

  8. its all in a person's beliefs.

but we dont know for sure if its real or not.

ill maybe come back here after im dead to tell you.

    if possible.

  9. ...yes, yes, yes and YES...don't you...

...LIFE has many unknowns and this is my favorite realm...

...thanks for asking and good luck...

  10. I do think that there is some form after life we go through after death noones quite sure but i believe in it.

  11. I do not believe in an afterlife..it is fun to fantasize abotu having future lives, but I know that such thinking is that....fantasy. Live for today and tomorrow will take care of itself..

  12. I'd like to, but it is just way too illogical and doesn't make any sense at all.

  13. yes

  14. Yes, totally. I've had NDEs and experiences with friendly and harmful spirits. Much of this happened in hospital though when I was going through a dark time mentally so it's difficult for me to recall those experiences in detail.

  15. Yes I believe in the afterlife and spirits, yes they are there, yes I have had an experiance with it.

  16. I neither believe nor disbelieve in the afterlife.  I do believe in the existence of a soul, a force inside of me which interacts with my mind and body to produce emotions and free will.  However, I do not know if that soul could exist apart from my mind and body.

I am aware of all the near-death experiences people claim to have had and the universal perception of a bright light.  Scientists claim, though, that that may be attributable to brain activity that occurs at the time of death.  What I do find intriguing are the accounts of floating over one's own dead body.  Some such accounts have included details which the person could not have known if he or she had been alive, such as topics of conversations and objects in the room.

I would like there to be an afterlife and figure that I will never be disappointed.  Either I will discover that there is one or I will not be around to be disappointed!

  17. I believe in eternal life, but from a purely scientific standpoint. I have no idea what worlds exist beyond this one, but I know regardless that they exist. Eternal life isn't merely an article of faith. It's a law of physics, just as much as gravity is. In our universe energy can be converted, transformed, moved around, and whatnot, but no particle of energy is ever lost. And if humans are energy than we must have eternal life.
