i personally believe that parents who believe in this are lazy and passive

when i say boys will be boys i mean parents who let their sons get away with everything eg. cussing, being rude not listening etc.

what about you?

  1. Yeah, I agree. So many guys are still so childish. Luckily my hubby is not like them.

  2. I agree, or usually rich snobs, all like, "Booiys, wiiihl beehee Booiihhhs." Blaaahaa.

  3. not at all, it's just an excuse for their behavior

  4. well I'm 16 years old and my parents are pretty cool. I'm mean i cuss now and then but they understand I'm anger about something and i let it go. i mean it just depends on the parent if there a strict couple are a laid back couple it just depends on how they treat there kids. when i become an adult ill teach my kids the way to behave proper and have manners. they'll be hard times during it but that's parenting. i hope i answered there questions

  5. the stuff you just said has nothing to do with "boys will be boys", that applies more to things like getting dirty and into mischief and stuff like that... you know... shenanigans

  6. no i think it's bad parenting. i hate horrible kids.

  7. I agree that parents today are far too lazy and uncaring. To simplify: they suck as parents.

People gotta stop yelling at their kids! Follow through when they say "no." Stop treating their 6 year old like a 16 year old. Turn off the TV, take away the candy, let them run and play like kids are supposed to. All in all, lets go back to the 50s because back then parents knew how to be parents.

  8. No I think thats a stupid saying from a time when girls were not appreciated and when it was a shame for a girl to cuss, but when your son does it he's just being a boy. I think it's an outdated and sexist saying.

  9. It has a lot of truth to it. Boys will always act like they are boys not men. It's not there fault. I know a family who whips their children just for being a silly boy. Those are forced to grow up. That is when the saying has some meaning. But sometimes parents can say it all the time and then they are lazy and their boy will never grow up.
