For those of you who are not clear....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_effect

<The phrase refers to the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in a certain location. The flapping wing represents a small change in the initial condition of the system, which causes a chain of events leading to large-scale alterations of events. Had the butterfly not flapped its wings, the trajectory of the system might have been vastly different. Of course the butterfly cannot literally cause a tornado. The kinetic energy in a tornado is enormously larger than the energy in the turbulence of a butterfly. The kinetic energy of a tornado is ultimately provided by the sun and the butterfly can only influence certain details of weather events in a chaotic manner.>

  1. No......I do not. I just blinked, it didn't affect anything

  2. Yes. The butterfly theory is true.

The actual *buttefly flapping its wings and making a tornado* is mostly a metaphor.

On the whole, the theory just refers to a tiny change, resulting in a big change that would never had happened if the tiny change hadn't.

A small event resulting in a bigger event elsewhere.

  3. technicaly yes but i dont think it would because there is so many other things that could get in the way of it

  4. The butterfly has always been spiritually symbolic for me,..had to get that in there, and I would of course have to agree to it's kinetic potential as is the potential of everything. Yes. :)

(((monstrissa))) Long time no see! (&#*% computers! lol,..)

  5. yes i do

    =)

this world is a cause and effect world

EVERY living thing gives off vibrations

    kinda off subject..but kinda on

did u know that there is a tree that the elephants eat off of

when one of these trees gets a bite taken out of it , it sends signals to the other trees...(vibrations) then these trees start producing a chemical that will taste bitter to the elephants and make them sick..resulting in them not being ate anymore

so there is some sort of proof of the butterfly effect

also..the more intense vibrations that r sent out the more intense nature is getting

we are all related..every living thing on this earth..we are all reliant on each other..we are all connected

so yes..something as 'insignificant' as the flapping of a butterflies wings is not as insignificant as we think

we r all equal..the butterfly effect is a reminder of that

  6. Yes, i do.

As a matter of fact, seemingly unimportant event four years ago, had a.huge impact on my life today.

The theory is true. You can use it as a metaphor..
