  2. Yes, I do believe in it. I'm in the UK and there have been recessions in the past, where money has been tight, and it looks like we're headed for another one.

I still shop, but I buy less. I'm still going to eat and enjoy myself and I'm still going to buy myself treats, but maybe not so often.

  3. Economists and governments just don't want to use the old word for what it is. begins with D ends win N I was looking at an old movie tone news thing and they were the same way in 1930 they did no want to use the D word I was laughing and thinking they will never change the suits and the fancy cars may be a different style but the not wanting to say the D is all to similar to me now.

  4. The credit crunch mainly applies to people who have or will borrow money. At the moment, it's a bad time to save as your money will devalue faster than you get interest.

  5. I prefer crunchy nut cornflakes, it all depends if they are on special offer or not!

  9. Yes, I believe in credit crunch, and yes people still need to shop. This is America, and we should not be going through this. Then on the internet, when you read what people are making for money (famous people) when little children are starving. There is no justice. This should be banned for people to read. It is so unfair. Where is the justice.

  10. i do

but i cant save, i'm still shopping

  11. No, but i do believe in the media's ability to manipulate stupid people and make what they want to happen, happen.

  12. It's not a belief. It is. The credit crunch exists. It's real.

I save money wherever and whenever I can. I differentiate between needs and wants, which isn't always easy.

  13. I sure do.

  14. It's a fact, not something to be believed or disbelieved.  The issue of how much it will effect each person depends on the individual though.  Some industries are being hit harder or lighter then others, and when it comes right down to it, a lot of it comes from people that were spending beyond their means to start with.  If you're smart with your money, and have been all along, then this isn't a reason to stop spending, it's just a reason to spend more prudently.

  15. When you have nothing, credit crunch means Jack s**t

  16. It's early days yet and in time the credit crunch will be felt by most of us,everything we buy is on the increase,we still shop but we do it carefully watching how much we spend.

  17. Trying to save, trying to budget and still trying to survive!  Just recently buying a new house doesn't help matters! lol

  18. Still shop till I drop!!
