  1. no, none exist

  2. I think certain things happen that we don't understand, but that's not to say we can't understand them. There were times when lightning and hiccups were considered paranormal. I think eventually we will discover what is the cause of these events.

  3. I believe there are things happening in the world that haven't been explained yet, and I am interested in trying to explain them myself.

  4. It is human nature not to believe things unless we see it, so those who believe in it have usually witnessed something.

At some point in the past, scientific discoveries helped us to understand the world we live in. Some are explained completely - like eclipses or how it rains, but others are fudged. Describing that gravity exists - but we don't know what it is exactly, or that electrons orbit atoms - even though more evidence says they don't; Is very similar to our concept that time is completely linear.

If we stretched time, then compressed it, bent or twisted it, we would be none the wiser - as it would appear exactly the same from our viewpoint, the same as light gets to the end of a fibreoptic, despite many twists and turns - it still gets to where it's going at the same speed.

Paranormal events may be to do with time not being linear at all. As time and gravity are closely proportional, in a similar way to electricity and magnetism, then altering local gravity may also alter local time.

While we know the earths core is very dense, it is perfectly possible for it to be hollow, because at it's centre, there should be 0g. If this produces a theoretical centre of gravity as a spherical shell, then movements of liquid high mass material may cause "gravity eruptions" within the core - leading to time disturbances on the surface.

Just because rules are made, doesn't mean to say they are that way ALL the time.

  5. I don't believe in ghosts or things like that, but I believe strange, unexplainable things can happen.

  6. NO.

    It doesn't exist.

  7. yeah i do. well i never did until my first paranormal experience when i was 8.

  8. It's something that needs to be experianced.

  9. Changing my answer, because I suddenly "get" the question. Der. lol

Why do I believe? Because it's been proven to me. I've experienced it for a few years now, on a daily basis. When someone who technically isn't there touches me, I feel it. Just last night one of my angels laid a hand against my back. Another touched my foot. I felt a distinct hand touching me. I've heard them speak, have gotten varifiable information from a spirit once while chatting with a friend of mine. Stuff I couldn't possibly have known otherwise, because this person (the spirit) was a complete and utter stranger to me. I only know how he died because my friend told me. I've had quite a few experiences like this.

  10. Yes! I record EVP (ghost voices) on a voice recorder. If you want to hear some of them visit the sites below.

  11. Big question.

My short answer is the single source continuum that we belong to.

Good luck, it takes most people years to understand the concept enough to be conversant.

  12. As a paranormal mystery author I have conducted an informal survey among members of various organizations I belong to - none of which are in the category of paranormal (DAR, church group of Anglicans, culinary history, lit reading roup, etc) - to get an idea of what the general population in the U.S. (of age range from teen to elderly, male and female) believes in. I have found that the majority are like myself.

We believe in the possibility of spirit visitations (ghost) and that some people may have a very keen, if not uncanny "intuitive sense" to speak to the past or future.

As for an explanation, most people believe in paranormal activity from which they have personal frame of reference, be it based on faith

    and/or expereince.

  13. Yes, I have had several experiences with the paranormal.

One thing I don't get is why people who don't beleive in the paranormal feel the need to come to this board just to be rude?? I can respect the people who say "No, because I have had no experience with it" or even "No I don't beleive in the paranormal" but going off and just being flat out rude and condescending doesn't lend credibility to that person. Half the time these same people wouldn't say a word to you about it in real life, they just hide behind the keyboard around here.

  14. I have experienced it first hand.

My explanation is that there is a thin veil between the physical and earthly worlds. Occasionally those worlds cross each other.

There are evil spirits and good spirits. There is also past time imprints that show them self, like layers of time. occasionally one of the layers of time crosses over to the physical world. Some are encouraged by paranormal sensitive people. Some from a particular situation....like building on a very active place where there was much activity in the past and the new place stirs up that past imprint.

Certain people are susceptible to the paranormal because their brains are gifted that way or they have fear that stirs up the past.

Also, there can be alternative explanations of the activity such as underground strong magnetic currents that can  influence a persons perception or hallucination of things.
