2)what came before time

3)what created time

Only one second ... Now! ... is ever real.  The past is gone forever and the future is always imaginary.  If everything in the universe stopped in place like a photograph there would be no need for time.  However one event follows another like frames of a motion picture and time helps separate events.  Before the Big Bang that created all energy and matter there was no need for time and it likely did not exist, at least as we have come to know it.  Approaching the singularity of a black hole, time becomes greatly distorted slowing everything down and watches would be torn apart.  Even within frozen matter, electrons are rapidly orbiting atoms and molecules, and that takes time!

i think it began when a shadow of a stick from sun is where time began. so if you were to put a stick facing north of the sun, the shadow will reflect to the time on our clocks. i dont know about the rest of the your questions. i would like to know that as well. =]

well i kindy got qustion but nmot quit see thye universe will die by ice and that means nomore life form billions of years from now but time will still go on its ticks the same rate there are billions of other universe but each one has a diffect time each one ticks the same and same rate but lets say our bubble universe says 4:00 but if you go to the other universe its 3:00 what created time well dark matter engery is make up 73% of the universe our sciencest belive that the key

time was here forever when the universe with the big bang .

Time is a endless chapter in ones life that you can either make the most of are waist time is only what one makes of it so with this being said time is cherishing the fact that people can take the time to answer questions that passionate people have about time and appreciating it. Nice thought

Time is time, the 4th dimension. It is all that was, is, and will be.

The effects of time are manifold and obvious - so there is no "believe", any more than I "believe" in gravity or fire.

1) time is a function of the expansion of the universe. It began when the universe expanded from a singularity (a point of zero volume and infinite density), and all of space/time began.

2) "before" is only relevant in time. Without time there *is* no "before", "after", "during", or any other feature of time. This is a bit like asking "How long were things before length existed?"

A simple way of thinking about it is as a dimension like length. Length was clearly never created and can never end, it's just a measurement.

People love to play around with the concept of time, saying it isn't real and such, but the simple truth is, it is, indeed, real, and a dimension of our universe.

1. Time began as a result of the big bang and the universe expanding. When the universe began, it started to expand. Because the universe is constantly expanding, and space is linked with time, time is expanding, and advancing just like the universe.

2. A better question is "what came before the big bang" and we have no idea what the answer to that question. There are many theories which stem from their being a universe before it, to their just being nothing. We will never know the answer to this question, we can only theorize.

3. Time was created as a result of the universe being created. The universe created space. Space is warped with time. So space-time was created all at once. Make sense?
