  1. Not only do I believe in it, I practice it.  ;)

Your mysterious find could or could not have something to do with the craft.  Either way, I'd get rid of it.  And I also don't believe that it has anything to do with spiders.  Those tend to start showing up around the house regardless.

  2. Yes I believe but I don't think the spiders have anything to do with it.

For all you know the bottle you foudn could be a protection spell.  Why does everything have to be for negative purposes when it's associated with witchcraft?

  3. I'm puzzled, which craft are we talking about???

  4. Someone might have dropped the bottle. Well, I'd say spiders are no way related to witchcraft, though it gives you a sort of creepy feeling...............................

  5. Yeah, I believe in witchcraft. I don't know what the bottle may mean though, I'd just keep it anwa, yoiu ma find a use for it later ^^. Oh, and please don't kill the spiders!

  6. It could be a curse that someone put on you. Try bringing it to a proffesional to see what they say about it.

  7. i beleive in witchcraft. i keep my mind open , the spiders are just naturally ive seen 4 in about 3 days . Dont worry just kill them if you find one i always do :D

  8. I get spiders in my basement.  I'm not sure if it has anything to do with witchcraft, but I just put them outside and hope they get rid of those stupid moths and mosquitoes that keep flying in.

As far as the bottle goes, it could be that someone was really bored and wanted to see if fingernails would float in Mountain Dew or something.  But if you're really freaked, take it to your local church and see what the pastor or priest about it down there thinks.

  9. It sounds like you have a witch's bottle.  They are actually used for protection.  At one time they would be buried on the person's property to help protect them and their household.

  10. I do beleive in Witchcraft. But what your talking of sounds more like Voodoo than witchcraft.

Maybe you should research witchcraft a bit more? Its not about casting spells and hexing people.

  11. i kinda believe in it. i think that maybe the bottle is attracting the spiders and u should get rid off it

  12. As a witch, of course I believe in witchcraft.  I am not sure what the bottle with liquid and a finger nail mean - could it be from a spell?  Sure. But it doesn't necessarily mean a curse - it could be some sort of protection like a witches bottle.  Or it could be nothing.  Sorry I'm not much help there - I've not specifically heard of a spell with these ingredients, esp. not knowing what the yellow liquid is.

The spiders I would say are unrelated.  When I've noticed an influx of spiders around my home, it seems to be at times that I am "stuck" in life, and not doing the work I should to improve my situations or move forward.  I would look at the spiders as a totem, bringing you messages you need to pay attention to at this time.

I first came across this several years back when I was kind of in a depressed funk over what seemed like a bunch of bad stuff all happening from fall of 01 to spring of 02 - (9/11, got laid off from my job, Mom diagnosed with cancer, good friend passed away young with no warning signs of any health problems...just to name a few!) and I was letting it all get me down to the point I didn't want to do anything with my life.

In the spring, when I'm usually battling with an army of ants setting up housekeeping in my place, I noticed spiders all over instead.  Lots of them, different sizes, all over the house.  One good sized spider that insisted on having a web and hanging out in the corner of my bathroom.  I knocked the web down a few times, and this stubborn spider would rebuild it later in the same spot.

And so, having always been interested in Native American spirituality (and being that there are some similarities in witchcraft and Wicca), I started researching spider as a totem and really contemplating the messages spider brings.

One day, I just seemed to snap out of my depression and started taking the appropriate actions to get my life back in order.  I was so excited that day that I finally felt I was moving forward again.  When I got home that night, I ran into the bathroom to tell my spider roommate that I finally "got it" - and it was gone, web and all, like it had never been there.  Apparently I really did "get it" - and once I received the message and did something about it - I didn't see a single spider inside my house again for quite some time (until the next time I needed the reminder to get my butt in gear and "weave my own web".)

So, (as long as you're not dealing with poisionous spiders in your home!), I would suggest reading up on some totem info about them and Native American spider myth and lore - the spider is highly respected in Native American culture.

    Spider Totem:

Creativity, Written Language, and Weaving Our Own Fate.

With a bump in the night, a howl from the woods and a terrible scream our haunted houses are not complete without a touch of cobwebs. Nothing seems more alien from humans then spiders. With their eight eyes, eight legs, and ability to live almost anywhere (especially my basement) spider has been a target of horror movies and night time fears. Spiders, with so many multiples of eight, are linked to fate and density. They can spend a day weaving their web and if it doesn't work untie it and let it float away. Spider can teach us to weave our lives, but we always have the ability to re-weave what we don't like. Spider in Native American myth and lore wrote the alphabet teaching the people to use words and writing. Spider can help you with your poses and poems creating new ways of expressing yourself. Creativity is always available when spider comes into your life. So save an eight-legged friend today and let Spider create something wonderful in your life.

  13. yes,i believe in witchcraft. the bottle might be related to the ancient practise of putting sharp things in it, along with something of the intended targets. This is really old, medieval witchcraft, and works a little like an effigy. Make yourself a protective amulet. An amulet can be a magical word, like a palindrome, a stone, or pretty much anything which is carried or worn to protect from dark magic. If the fingernail isnt yours, im not sure how the spell (or curse) is supposed to work. I would also recommend creating a magic circle around your house,or asking protection of an appropriate deity. Don't worry about the spiders, they probably dont have anything to do with it.
