Do you believe like me that people who attack the Royal Family are bitter and full of envy?

I have observed Her Majesty for close on sixty years and throughout her reign she has been dignified and dutifull. It seems to me that a lot of people on here pass comment through envy, without ever considering what her role entails and what having your life mapped out for you feels like.

Certainly, some of the people who come on here and attack the Royals are bitter and jealous. It comes out through their writings. Some have good questions and comments, but maybe don't phrase them as well as they could. Some of them just want to stir things up and try to make other people as unhappy as they are.

Yes,there are many people whoe are envious of any one of wealth and status. Have you ever noticed how the media likes to build someone up and then shred them to pieces? And when economic conditions are very bad,people at the top of the economic ladder become targets;it doesn't matter which government,be it monarchy or democracy.Many of the Queen's subjects really do like her and think she's doing her job quite well.Then there are those who want her to take more of a role in government,while there are those who don't want a monarchy...

Many People don't like being deceived and when we compare the facts  As the link will show They don't fit in with the myth we are all fed generation after generation

You and I come from the same generation and we both know how brainwashed our Parents were regarding these individuals They believed what they were told  and questioned nothing

These days Thankfully information is freely available that was denied to them

What would be our Parents reaction if they were here to read that web page

I am envious when I have to wait months for an operation when some of my taxpayers money is being given to an already rich family.

I am envious when MY house gets burgled when an already rich family is provided with increased security at the taxpayers expense.

I don't think it is necessarily that the Royal family do a bad job, just that the job itself seems pointless. They don't really help to run the country, the PM does that (kind of!) all they seem to do is jet around to meet and greets! I think in a modern society we need to just get rid of the royal family and have an elected leader every four years like they do in the states.

Maybe some people are envious but on the other hand it could just be that you have a difference of opinion.

are we talking about the complete Royal Family here or just the Queen? yes the queen has done a dignified and dutiful role as Queen of this country, which she has done for many years, but nowdays people look on this establishment as being out of date and out of touch with the "common man" (or woman), is it job that's envied i don't know this would mean that others would like the job that she has.

Now what about the rest of the Royal Family when you are seeing younger members of the Royal Family falling drunk out of nightclubs, or loafing and not doing a lot whilst needing 24 hour security protection, does that sound like people are bitter of this, to be honest yes, surely that money could be spent elsewhere, rather than on selfish individuals.

Are we envious of the lifestyle, possibly, the money would be nice no matter who we are, bitterness again possibility but they do nothing themselves to change that

No, I think the whole concept of a royal family is an absolute disgrace, no one has the right to rule over anyone.

The royal family are billionairres yet millions in this country live in poverty and have to sruggle their whole lives! that is disgusting! There is enough resources on this planet to feed and clothe every single human being, yet we humans as a speicies allow 10 % of the people on earth hold 90 % of the wealth!

If you look into the history of the royal family, you'll find they are of German disent, they are occultists and ritualist satanists. And acording to David Icke are shapeshifting reptiles.

yes, I agree with you entirely.  Many of the comments on the royal family on this site are incredibly spiteful and nasty.

Her Majesty has indeed been dignified and dutiful throughout her reign, sometimes under very trying circumstances.  I think that people who imagine her life is easy delude themselves.  Let them try to fulfill the endless round of public engagements that she does and see how they enjoy it.

yes  they don't have a clue, most will not do a thing for our country let alone give their life to serving our country,

they begrudge 58p we pay in tax what a vast amount, now how much does the queen give to us?   nearly 4 times more than she gets from  us, in 2002 we gave her (£35.3 million ) i will not go into details of how it was spent jobs, food, etc, it can all be checked on the civil list,

the queen gave all the income from the crown estates, this includes shops & office rents from regent street,  millbank tower, &300,000 acres of farm land in 2002 this was £147.7 million,   what a drain  on our country ,she should take it all back then the wingers can moan about there taxes going up it will be more than 58p,

its not the royal family wasting our money its the parasites in the house of commons,

They're just uneducated.

They bring this country a h**l of a lot, people just don't recognise that.

Countries with no monarchy want them, we abuse ours, and tbh - who cares if they use a helicopter to see their mates? Its only one family in the entire country.. its not ruining the economy.
