I was really bored so I just thought i'd get your views on the topic..

Have a nice day :)

  1. Yes--- I believe that somewhere else in the GIGANTIC universe intelligent life does exist.

Here is a picture of M31 Andromeda galaxy one of BILLIONS in the universe. Each one containing billions of stars --- many with planets. The number of possible planets is so large as to be incomprehensible.

  2. yes i do!

like when my sister was a baby (shes 19 now) my parents were in there car driving and this big 'thing' (they say it was over a mile long and was the shape of an oval) was in the air right over them. and they pulled over and so did a bunch of other people so its not like they were the only ones who had seen it. but they say it had billions of lights on it and had weird carving things on it. and it was there for like 3 minutes and everyone was staring and taking pictures. and like in half of a second it was gone. they say you couldnt even see it leave it left so fast! and like a year later they saw the same story on the news of the same ship that was above above them in the same spot. sounds cheesy i know but not the way they told me. :]

  4. There's billions of galaxies with trillions of stars.I find it unlikely that we are the only intelligent species in the universe. This doesn't mean I believe in ufo's,I don't.

I suggest you read COSMOS by Carl Sagan. He gives the numbers and probabilities

  6. Demons

  7. The best and only reasonable solution to the Fermi Paradox is that we are the ONLY show in the town: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermi_parad...

But if you just HAVE to believe in ETs and UFOs, the antichrist has something special in store for you. Google/youtube: "Project Bluebeam"

Type III 'aliens' and fake ‘messiahs’ just in time for 2012! Many will be fooled...

  8.   Ya.. For sure.. Have you not watched Star Trek?

If people think were the only ones.. Then some alien played a serious joke on us..

  9. because earth exists because of all the elements essential for life are equally balanced

our planet is in the habitable zone

  10. ????????????????????????????????????????...

  11. I once got so drunk i thought my belly button was a mouth and was talking to me so i tried to stick chocolate bars in my belly button to shut him up, so using this as an example i would say mankind has the tendency to believe almost anything including  in "Intelligent" life outside the planet Earth.

  12. I'd say yes, simply from the law of numbers... the number of galaxies, the number of stars within those galaxies, and the number of planets around those stars.

Surely, somewhere in all the trillions of stars and quadrillions of planets, one or two must contain some being that looks out and wonders if they're alone....

  13. >I just wanted to know if you believed that "intelligent" life exists outside earth.

    Yes, I do.

    >If yes, why so

The Universe contains some 70 trillion galaxies, each of which contains an average of over ten billion stars, each of which is orbited by an average of perhaps two planets, some of which are in turn orbited by moons. Thus, there are somewhere on the scale of a septillion (that's 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000) large, planetlike objects in the Universe that could hold life. To put this into perspective, if you take the GDP (gross domestic product) of the ENTIRE WORLD, and measure it in pennies, there are 150 MILLION large planetlike objects in the Universe for every penny you would have. Similarly, if you drew every one of these objects on a piece of paper, representing each object as a circle with a diameter of one centimeter, and arranged the pictures in a grid so that each one touched four others beside it, the piece of paper you used would have to be big enough to cover the entire surface area of the Earth two hundred thousand times. Starting to see how big a place the Universe really is? With all those objects, I find it extremely unlikely that the Earth is the only one that successfully developed intelligent life. It just doesn't compute.

  14. yes i believe it but if the most inelegant  creatures  there no hope for the unv

  15. No, I do not believe that "intelligent" life exists outside Earth.  I feel that there may be microbial life that may be "found" on planets (simply due to the fact that there are so many "other" planets) other than the Earth.

However, if it does exist (and there is that "possibility"), it's machine "intelligence" and not human like "intelligence". Now if it's machine "intelligence", it's way beyond what we have at this time, due to the fact that there may be planets that are "older" (much more aged) than ours.

  16. I believe that there is intelligent life out there.

Mathematically speaking, with all those planets it seems impossible for us to be the only ones to be intelligent.

Everyone says we are in the 'right' place in the solar system for life.

But not all life is like ours, there might be gas creatures that live in Jupiter's atmosphere and feed on the acid rain for all we know.

With all the different types of life that could evolve and all the different planets out there, I would be more shocked if there wasn't other life out there.

Look at the alphabet....from only 26 letters we have a whole language comprised of thousands upon thousands of words.

The universe has a lot more than 26 basic 'elements', so the possibilities are endless.
