Do you believe silver will be the next gold?

and I dont mean that literally, because obviously gold is gold and silver is silver, but I think you get my intended point.

Silver already is used in the same way gold is, as jewelry, in industry, and most importantly, as a store of value.  If you are saying that silver will be bid up the way gold has, due to market speculators and the decline of the U.S. dollar, I think this has already happened.  The commodities markets are sufficiently broadly traded that any influx of capital will seek to bid up any "undervalued" commodities, and since this has already happened with gold, I think it is safe to assume that it has also happened with silver.  Commodities prices have spiked across the board, this is simply more noticeable with gold because it's price is more widely reported than silver.

  3. no that would be like saying do you think choclate would be the next vanilla.  Not because they are different but that they coe exist together.  Think of them like two stocks each with a value. One never goes obsoelte.
