Do you believe some people are psychic, but that it isn't controlled?

I have found throughout my life (I'm 38 now), that very often I will say something out of the blue, or go on feelings, and emotions on a subject, then within a day, to a week it happens, no matter how strange the idea.

I don't know what to believe about this, never did, but if you believe in people having the ability to be psychic, do you also believe it can be passed down into a gene through children, or that it is uncontrollable (I don't believe in psychics who claim to do it at will, btw)?

Example, my son says to me this morning, "remember when it barely sprinkled months ago?", and I said, yes. Now it's sprinkling here in La Mesa CA, in the middle of summer!

A few months ago, I advised a friend of mine to go to the hospital to see his friend who was bashed up bad, saying he may die tonight if you don't go now. The man died that night, and my friend never went to see him. I had no idea of the man's condition, but feel terrible!

Those are just two things, so what does this mean, if anything?

  1. For what it's worth, about 90% of the time I know how many messages are in my Hotmail inbox before I even log on.

And, when I'm coming up to an intersection and there are quite a few cars ahead of me, I can "tell" them to turn off and they usually do, exactly as I tell them to -- for example, "OK, three of y'all turn left, and two turn right," thus getting cars out of my way and me to work faster!

Do I think I'm psychic?  Mmmmm . . . not really.  But if you want to think so, that's always cool, lol.

  2. I don't think so. Sheer coincidences.

  3. Nope.
