Do you believe some powerful gods are controlling the powerful forces in this world.such as wind,earth quick's, heat, cold and hurricanes.

No. While I believe in the God and Goddess, I believe they /are/ the world and do not really "control" it in some king-like way. I believe are just the energy that makes things naturally go, but don't control the actions. Perhaps the stiumli, but not the reactions.

I believe humans have just invented this "Creator" just because they need something to believe in. If you ask me, we should get out of the mentality that says "Oh, if we go to Church every Sunday and read the Bible every night, God will make us happy and successful." (Of course I don't only mean the faiths related to Jesus Christ. I mean every faith that believes in a being/beings controlling our lives.)

Anyway, we have to work hard in life, care for other people, love them and ourselves to truly be happy and successful.

Barely, l expect humans could also have as much influence over these occurences. Sure, some denizens of our planet could hold more sway over the natural aspect of weather and geology nonetheless a result requires same effort and these consequences could never originate from the single whim of a sole impudent being.

A small quall could be possible but in no way was Hurricane Katrina the work of one, though if it were be assured the innocents who died then will be avenged on one soul tenfold.
