Do you believe student centered instruction is more important or subject centered instruction. Why or why not?

Both are important, but I do believe that student-centered instruction is more important. For a student to learn best they need to be motivated. Student centred instruction drives student centred motivation. When children are motivated, and know that they have choices and autonomy in their learning, they will be more open and eagar to learn subjects. I aqm not saying never teach subjects, but to create a learnign environment where children feel valued, andf therefore choose to learn.
