  1. yeah also

most couples date people who look like themselves

like there nose, chin, eyes etc

  2. with romance it probably wont last more than a year...is best to marry someone alot like you.....no my friends arent all the same as me but the ones that lasted are watersigns like me..

  3. Well, you could hardly call them very good friends if you argued all the time on major moral issues. I think many people tend to think of this question in "do they like the same flavor of ice cream as me" terms, instead of more important, personality-defining issues. People who bully others tend to stick together, people who are kind and do favors for one another also stick together...people who hold their feelings in and people who wear their heart on their sleeve...

My friends all have the same sort of values as I do...and the ones that don't are drifting away.

Of course, this view probably doesn't encompass someone who is just really desperate for friends and will accept anyone...but then again, maybe the people accepting them are just as desperate!

Like someone above me said, this can probably be most accurately applied to peer relationships, seeing as how children mostly associate with other children simply because...they're children :)

  4. I don't know if I do. I mean how does a six year old child "create" sexual abuse? I think there are still some flaws in the theory behind "like attracts like" particularly as it relates to infants and children for me to give it serious consideration.

  5. I'm not so sure if i believe that like attracts like. My fiance and I are complete opposites. We have different religions, cultural backgrounds, childhood experiences, communication styles and other huge differences. Even though we are so different, we have made it work for eight years (we started dating when we were 14).

The same could be said about my friends. They are all different and diverse. I can't say that we all belong to the same social group either.

Maybe I am different from the norm, but I don't seem to attract those like me. I think I would eventually get bored if my friends and significant other were like me.
