Its amazing to me that they never seem to have a flaw in the system. Let me know what you think. Do you think that some "cast members" hate their job but just do it because they are forced???

  1. i love disney land .....

  2. I do belive that, sometimes, but the thing is if you don't spend the utmost amount of mony you don't have the BEST time, but it is SO fun, also don't go there for the rides, not very many, but the tower of terrer is really fun!

  3. I think it is.  They hire good people & treat them well - they have got the science of theme parks down to an art

    I'm ready to go now!

    :o)

  4. h**l no it isnt the happiest place in the universe. Its just a sales pitch for people who want to experience the "magic" of disneyland.

The cast members in my opinion do hate their jobs ocassionally.(who doesnt) Some see it as an oppurtunity though. You are working for one of the most profitable companys in the world. Maybe some hope to get discovered by talent agents there. Some hope to use it as a stepping stone to higher levels of performing. Some just do it because they love it. I would say that a small percent do get "forced" to do it but its probably a small percent 5% of less. If it was more we would always hear about it.

  5. It's more of their catch phrase "happiest place on earth"

but I can say it is my happiest place on earth, I go there to get away from my problems and to just relax for a day and imagine.

One of my really good friends works there and is playing the Fantasmic Mickey Mouse this summer. I've been talking to her about it, and she loves the people there!

It seems that all of the people working at Disneyland are happy and good people. The people at California Adventure seem to feel a little different about that though, they don't seem to like their job as much.

All managers, no matter what job, try to make their employes look happy. The people that run Disney treat their staff really well

  6. I  think that they do not get paid enough for what they do.  I have a lot of friends who work there, who say that.  But they do love their job.  None of them are the people in the costumes on a 100 degree day though.  I feel so sorry for the mickey mouse guy.

But I LOVE LOVE LOVE Disneyland!  The atmosphere is so amazing, energetic, it just makes me ecstatic to be there.

This year we finally got annual passes.  The magic of Disneyland awaits!

  7. I think so.  It's the only amusement park where I don't have to worry and just forget everything.  Cause there's too many distractions like shows, attractions, rides and just the scenery itself is overwhelming.  It's non-stop.

When I worked there, I had a blast.  They treat their employees nicely.  There's never any negative criticizing only positive ones.  I remember when everyone had to read 'Who moved my Cheese?' and discuss about how we can improve as a park.  It was always a learning experience.  Plus, all the benefits and extra fun stuff makes it feel more like a community than just work.  I remember being on a softball and canoe team for my department and we would compete with other departments.  It was so much fun.  We got to meet other cast members that we would never have seen or known their existence.  It was a great bonding experience and I got to met some great people.  Even when I moved on from Disney but I still keep in touch with my ex-coworkers.  It just a great place to work because of all the positive attitude.

But like any job, there are a few cast members that don't enjoy their job but they are usually gone after a few months either by choice or management.  And I have to admit there were times that I just couldn't stand being there but that was only because of a string of rude guests.  But it eventually passes.

  8. It is forever and allways. It ws great castmembers, wonderful service, reasoned priced food, and well... Mickey Mouse! But that is my opinion. It is magical and happy everytime i just think, hear, or go to any thing Disney! And just imagine it, the guy who built Dinseyland, actually walked there! So knowing that your walking in his footsteps, is magical. The park is also great for any age! Anyone has fun there! Even Scrooge had fun there!
