as for why

1, there are several ancient belief systems centered around the existence of the fae folk.

2, i have seen them when thay have chosen to communicate with me.

3, medieval people did not just make up a fiary or god to explain every ripple in a puddle or change of a river's course.

they did not have time to sit around and think up stories to scare people. each legend has some shread of truth to it. and there are thousands of legends of the fae from around the world.

Faeries most definitely exist. They live on the astral plane. The astral is the substance in between the various planes of existence, the sort of "plane in between planes." The astral plane overlaps our physical plane. It is possible to see faeries and communicate with them (as well as other types of beings and spirits) if you are more enlightened and have a higher psychic awareness. This point takes a lot of time and hard work to get to. People will only see what they expect to see. Most people refuse to believe in faeries or other types of beings and label them as being "fantasy." You will never see faeries if you do not truly believe in them and accept that they exist. Once you start letting go of any preconceived notions of what reality is supposed to be and start truly believing that anything is possible, then you too will be able to start seeing. It is a process though and it takes time.
