Do you believe that God has the right to punish us?

Do you believe that God has the right to punish us into the sea of fire which what they called the h**l, I just wondering, we don't wish to born in the earth or to have life and we don't wish to commit sins. In our childhood life we are innocent we even have no sins, we are just victims of foolishness of our environment.

'Rights' are the creation of human laws, which God is above. It is not a question of His rights. What court would you sue Him in?

Do you have the right to punish your children.  Of course you do.  Child abuse is another thing.

In the same way Jehovah God has the right to punish us, but he does not use cruelty to do it.  The HellFIRE doctrine is a teaching coopted by the church from Pagan teachings.  It has no basis in fact.  

You can see how he would feel about it if you read the condemnation at Deutoronomy 18:11,12.

No - if you follow it God set us up for failure.  The sins of Adam and Eve were by design apparently since God also knows the future.

That would be like using my eyes to sees when I was expected to keep them closed.  To get punished for that is silly.

It depends what you think rights are based on.  He might have the right, but he wouldn't have the need to do it.  It's an absurd concept.  It's hard to comprehend how so many people can buy into the idea.  He is not going to punish anyone, mostly because he probably doesn't exist.

Yes. First, you have the right to choose. You can either follow Jesus, or you follow satan. That is your choice. If you know the truth and know the consequences, and choose to reject, yes He has the right to punish you. Besides, God has the right to do any thing because He is the creator.

Yes, we are knowledgable as to what good and evil is. He judges us based on the choices WE make. As is His right.

Gos has all rights.  We have those which He allows us to have.  In any case, h**l isn't a matter of inflicted punishment.  It is simply a matter of God respecting out choices of free will.  Those who choose to reject Him or hate Him must have a place where they can live apart from Him.  That place is h**l.  What would be the alternative?  To take those who reject Him, who hate Him, and force them to spend eternity in the intimate presence of the very one they have chosen to live apart from??
