  1. Yes

  2. I could be wrong, but from what Ive read...Buddha never preached about the existence of a God who judges. He believed that the soul keeps undergoing cycles of rebirth. They say Buddha was 'enlightened' but what sets the criteria for 'enlightenment' ? Yes, he concluded at some fundamental truths - example - that desire causes suffering etc, but whos to say someone living before him couldnt have come up with the same? Buddha did possess a lot of charisma and personality that attracted followers, but he cannot be placed on the same league as the prophets of Abrahamic monotheism.

Regarding Moses, Jesus and the old testament prophets, yes. They were messengers of God, who recieved inspiration from God. They werent preaching their own views on the world, but rather what was revealed to them.

  3. No.

  4. BUDDHA?  Now that is just f'ed up if you are going to start claiming OTHER great people who started OTHER religions/traditions/philosophies to be from YOUR god.  THAT I can say honestly pisses me off.  Get off your high soap box and come to terms with the fact that THERE IS NO PROOF OF ANYTHING beyond what we can see and touch and feel.  The only thing we DO know is that EVERYTHING IS HERE.  Yes, we know this.  I know my computer is front of me.  But no one knows WHY the earth came about, no one knows HOW it came about.  No one knows if there is one god, your god, no gods, my gods, someone else's gods, or martian gods out there.  I'm sorry, but to this I'm going to have to say ... in response ....
