I would not take a stinger from a bee, or a tooth from a wolf.  This is what they have and need to survive.  But all power should be regulated by outside and independent forces.  Let them build, we do.  But it would be wise to keep watch, and sometimes govern.

It is a win/win solution to stop it, so, yes.  If they were truly not building a weapons program, the offer of all the materials they needed for power generation from Russia and the EU would have been swooped upon.  The Mullahs have already tanked the economy and unrest is becoming general - Iran depends on their EU trade and if the EU is actually becoming serious (as I feel the floor to make sure heck is not freezing over) about trade sanctions, their hold on power would be tenuous at best and Iran certainly does not need violence in the streets.

I think there needs to be a lot more talking. I think Iran should be watched closely but it really shouldn't have to stop. They need the Electricity & besides we have how many here in our country. We definitly DON'T need to go to war with them.

Forget about what the US thinks. Of course they should junk their nuclear program. The more nations that have nuclear weapons the closer the world comes to a nuclear winter. The money could be spent on better things that could bring about a better life for ALLTHE IRANIAN PEOPLE, not just the fat cats.

I think if it can be proven that it is for weapons, then Israel will bomb it, just like Syria.  I would not blame them one bit for taking the pre-emptive steps against a county who gladly supports terrorism and who have vowed to wipe Israel off the map.

They should be allowed to build their nuclear power station and if they do happen to make a nuclear weapon it will at least shut the Israelis up. Israel have 200 nuclear warheads and the world stood by and just watched them make them. If Israel are allowed to do it so should Iran . At least it would help to balance the power in the Middle East

Iran should continue to enrich fuel for their nuclear power programs if they so desire.

It is their legal right to do so.

Anyone who chooses to learn for themselves rather than listen to Bush and his Fox News propagandists knows that Iran does not have enough capacity to refine uranium enough for weapons production.

There is a big difference in the purity needed for nuclear power versus that needed for nuclear weapons no matter what the Bush administration wants you to believe.

This is all about the control of oil in the Middle East-just like in Iraq.
