  1. No, I don't.

After controlling the White House for all but eight out of the last 28 years, boasting a majority in the House of Representatives for 12 out of the last 14 years and in the Senate for more than eight out of the last 12, as well as having appointed seven out of the nine justices to the US Supreme Court, the attempt by the Republicans to masquerade as outsiders taking on Washington and its “elites” is quite simply ludicrous.

Does anybody still believe these people?

  2. Yes.

McCain is an old kind of republican who has had a change of mind and heart and is ushering in an era of the new kind of Repubicans which is Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindal..

  3. So let me get this straight, when the Dems grew in number in Congress 2 years ago and promised Change, they were going to wait to see if a Dem president was elected.  When he is not, will they continue to do nothing.  Obama plans on more of the GREAT SOCIETY programs from LBJ and crowd that didn't work then and don't work now.  Big government, big programs, big taxes, cost money and achieve nothing.

  4. Yes!!!  That's why McCain said in no uncertain terms that he "doesn’t work for a party".

We need more honest politicians like McCain is willing to say that the Republicans have been a disgrace and he wants to part of working for them (besides taking their campaign contributions, of course).

  5. As one writer said it's about degrees of change.  McCain believes in a little change, while Obama wants to bring back the Carter administration.

  6. when they say "change is coming to Washington" that is Barack OBAMA

  7. not me.

  8. it is all a crock of **** to just win more votes

  9. How could the democrats be the agents of change with Congress being in controlled by the Democrats.

If both parties are serious about change (and not just espousing meaningless rhetoric), than the Republicans should have control over Congress and the Democrats should have the Presidency.

  10. Evidently a lot of Americans do.  McCain got a nice convention bounce.  Obama didn't.

    Great answer, "Sparkler."
