  1. Driving a vehicle is a responsibility, not a luxury.  You take into your person the cost. *** Money wise, plus polution wise***

And the risk/rewards of driving.  Being able to go on your schedule on a moments notice for example.

Driving is up to the person, I enjoy driving from time to time, but 90% of my driving is for work or nessissity.

I used to drive large trucks, but I have been downsizing from full size, to half size, to small.  Now I have a Ford Escape 4 cylinder and a trailer..... It gets the job done and get's 20 MPG City driving.

The best thing about vehicles is, no matter what consumer advocate groups is griping at this particular time, you are able to choose any vehicle within your price range and drive, no questions asked!  If you are a single person that works in a office, you are still able to purcace a monster truck that burns 8 miles per gallon if you choose.  And despite all the griping, a modern vehicle, trucks included, only output a fraction of the polutants the ones from the 70's and even 80's did.

So, driving is up to the individual.  Most are like me, getting smaller vehicles to both save fuel and cash.

    Enjoy the drive!
