sure :) a good example of people being possessed by the devil is Hitler :)...if you believe in God then you will know that there is also a devil ;) who can possess people.

No but they can be influenced. Some people think God told them to do something when really it was the Devil. You cannot really be possessed though. ( :

watch the exorcism of emily rose, it was based on a real life account of annaleise michel. a woman who was possessed. I believe the closer you are too god and keep him in your home and surroundings, the lesser chance of it happening. Evil and bad is always around us, its about how we go about and how much gets through. Most people can't be touched by evil unless they have some kind of reception to it. Ie- ouiji boards. My brother saw a ghost, and he almost strangled him, no joke. After that he never messed with that **** again and I suggest you don't either. Just keep your faith.

Genuine demonic possession is a crock, when we make bad choices in life or do something wrong, we shirk personal responsibility and blame it on the "devil".

I know the clergy believe that such a thing can exist and I think focusing on personal responsiblity and realizing that bad choices have consequences and that learning  from  them and not repeating them will all be an incentive to improving oneself and to become a better person.

And all that stuff about the possessed exhibiting super human strength, speaking in different tongues and  voices are things you see in films, like the exorcist and are total nonsense.

Since the devil doesn't exist, a person would be just as likely to be possessed by Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy.

People can most definitely be possessed. If Jesus Christ isn't inside of them, therefore they have never accepted Him into their lives and into their hearts, the devil can take over. When you are born again, the devil is unable to touch you. He cannot, by the rules of God, who is much much more powerful than Satan, enter your body. There is proof in the Bible that people were possessed by demons, until a man of God came along and brought the demon out of that person.
