I know i sound like a COMPLETE idiot when i ask this (considering my age and all) PLEASE people don't leave negative comments..please? I'm only asking out of shear curiosity. I'm 16 years old. I've been with my now 22 year old boyfriend for 2 years. he lives with me. For some ridiculous reason, I want a baby so bad, but i know that i wouldnt be able to take care of it, and My high school career would possibly finish off. but why is it that some women want a baby so bad??? I mean, when I found out one of my friends was pregnant (not a teen mind you) i actually started crying!! what irony!! I cried because i want a child, and I'm waaay to d**n young!! But dont get me wrong, i use condoms AND the pill, and i surely dont poke holes in the condom when we have s*x to get me pregnant, I'm not THAT kind of person. I just....think about me being a mommy..ALOT. I even go "fake shopping" in the baby aisle at JCpenney.... Please, can ANYONE tell me what the h**l is wrong with ME??? lol

  1. ahhhhhhhhhh sweet.but you might make the wrong desison you might lose your future your goal in life and i know one of your goal is ta have your baby but just think about talk to a person not your pareant couse they be mad and the will talk c**p ,but just dont do it..

  2. Don't worry, I'm guessing it's a normal teenage girl thing (I'm 16 as well). I feel so much better right now, cause I too walk through the baby section @ walmart, etc. 'fake shopping.' I always thought I was the only one that did it, or that I was immature imaging things like that.

Just keep on living your life knowing that one day you will have a baby. Oh and yes I believe some people are born to be mothers. Just like on the movie Juno lol

  3. You are a hormonal teenager with an older boyfriend. Sounds like you are having normal feelings to me. But I applaud you for waiting and being smart enough to put it off. Your schooling comes first and getting ahead comes first. You are going to want to work and have an apartment and be able to come and go when you want without a baby to hang on you. I had my first baby at 18 and it was so hard. I got married 2 months after I found out I was pregnant and I'm not kidding when I say that if I could have done things differently I would. Having a baby even at 18 was trying on my sanity. ha ha. But I have always felt like I wanted to be a mom and gave into it at a young age. Although I would never take back becoming a mom to my beautiful daughters and marrying my husband I do wish I had waited. You'll be fine, you are normal. Just keep doing what you are going with protection and choosing you first and you'll make it. Remember you are only this young once, might as well enjoy it.

  4. There's nothing wrong with you.  From what I've witnessed, being a mother is sort of like a career. While some women want to be successful business women, other want to be mothers.  You want the latter. No reason to be ashamed.  You'll be a mother someday.  Just make sure it's the right time so you'll be able to give your child the best life he/she could possibly have.

  5. You are way too young., This is psuchological. What you need is a normal relationaship with a guy closer to your age.

  6. Some people just really love babies or are mature for their age and cant vvait until they have a child of their ovvn. You vvill be ready one of these days and  vvhen you are then you vvill make a great mother! Just finish high school and see vvhere you are then, you can alvvays have a baby, but once you make that commitment then theres no turning back, so make sure you are COMPLETELY ready before you decide to have kids. I had my first baby at 17, even though it vvas pure accident it vvas the best thing that happend to me! I LOVE being a mom and love my kids vvith all my heart! But some people aren't alvvays the same vvay. My friend got pregnant the same time as me and novv vve are 22 and she vvants to go out and party all the time and alvvays drops her kids off somevvhere every vveekend, its very sad for her kids but she feels like she missed out on her freedom but thats vvhat happens vvhen you have kids, some grovv up and take the responsibility and be a good mom and some just dont grovv up.

  7. Well...I understand that you want to be a mother (I don't think that you're an idiot by the way, if that helps any)...but try to finish up high school and try to get a career...maybe you should try getting a career in working with children? Maybe you want to work in the daycare or become a youth worker? A teacher maybe? A kindegarten teacher?

It's just a little easier to raise a child when you have more money from a career that you love.
