I am sorry, I do not channel.  I am told it is quite exausting to do so by others that do practice the art of channeling.  Since possession is a form of channeling even if it is without permission then I would have to say yes, it is possible and yes it does happen.  It is also reported that the channelers vital signs change dramatically.  In fact the blood pressure will drop and the pulse will rise which should not happen unless there is injury or illness that could result in death.

You could do a test by having a speech expert document a person's capabilities vocally using well known electronic metering and testing devices, then if a person is recorded out of their true capable range doing a channeling, I would have to say it was real. Other than a strong scientific hold on it, I would guess it to be acting. Either acting to fool, or acting subconsciously and that person doesn't even know they are doing it.

One thing a person cannot fake is a vocal range they are unable to reach.

yes it can happen and does happen,, but you have to becareful of the frauds who just claim to be able to do it...specially for money....about a year ago i noticed when ever i had a question about something that i could not get an answer to, then days or weeks later my answer would be channeled through me, it was quite surprising..now i ask questions on purpose in getting a reply through my thoughts..and im amazed at the answers i receive, and my surroundings feel different while the message is being put through me, a certain energy surrounds me,...

I don't know..but I used to change my voice and mannerisms to be like other people. I didn't know I was doing it...well, I remember thinking"I'm acting like----"...But I didn't plan it or mean to do it. It was kind of exciting...doing things like that.But it got me into trouble...I think people thought I was a witch or something. Really hurt my feelings. I was trying to follow God.This happened in church...at a meeting.I think a  lot more happens in some churches than a lot of you realize.

No. There really is no compelling evidence at all either for channelling or for the existence of spirits, let alone that spirits can do impressions  :)

Voices, facial features etc don't always change - that depends on the closeness to the persons energies that the spirit has.

Since there is no such thing as spirits, then the answer is NO.

People that claim they can are all fakes. None have ever contacted a spirit under controlled circumstances.

Most Christians know channeling as "speaking in tongues" not knowing that the two terms and concepts are the same thing, only in different stages of development.
