We do have a say in what public services we invest in - it's called voting.  You vote for certain public officials who hold stances on certain points.  You vote for the person you agree the most with.  That person, when elected, tries to implement their ideas or erase programs they disagree with.  And if their ideas are implemented you pay for them through your taxes, if they erase programs you'll no longer pay for those services with your tax dollars.


  2. Definitely.  Tax payers in a form, are the stakeholders who are responsible for the speedy delivery of all the public services at absolute quality.  Citizen forums with active participating citizens can effectively voice their concerns about the public services.
