In a sense you are correct, but if the war on terror were taking place here rather than in Iraq and Afghanistan things would change here.

True.  They can't, or at the very least, we shouldn't let them change us Americans.  To let them do so would be to show defeat.  We must stay strongwilled and defeat them.

Only we can change ourselves and the way we view these events.
