can appear on the scene at the 11th hour to "save" us from the situation caused by Big Gov spending, through "privatizing" the entire government?

Or do you believe the size of the national debt came about by accident with no one's intention.

  1. I feel that americans put themselves into bankruptcy because we have all the opportunity to spend money with credit. so we do it but yes the government has allowed all these different companies to offer the credit. We need to go back to CASH ON THE BARREL AND BARTERING systems again to help everyone get out of the debt. No more credit cards. If you can't get it with cash or fair trade, you don't get it. We need to get back to the simpler life like in the early 1900s with simple washers and we hang our clothes on the line.  We all need to join together as neighbors and plant our own food and then share the crops with all our neighbors. Self sufficency is the answer so we don't end up like 3rd world countries or countries that are run by government and we get food rations that will not last our families long enough.

  2. I feel like the US government has been insanely stupid about borrowing/owing money to other countries.  They could find ways to pay all the debt and interest off, but I think they purposely don't.  I wouldn't be surprised if your theory turned out to be true; it's interesting.

  3. Google Lindsay Williams... Gull Island.

A massive oil/natural gas field exists under Gull Island, located in the waters of Prudhoe Bay in Alaska, according to Lindsay Williams. Williams was an Alaska oil field Chaplain who was so successful at boosting moral during the building of the Alaskan pipeline that he was given special access to many high level meetings at the Atlantic Richfield company. At one of those meetings, he witnessed, first hand, discussions confirming a successful find of a massive new oil field near Prudoe Bay in Alaska--at Gull Island the day before the meeting.

A few days later, the chief operating officer of Atlantic Richfield for Alaska, Ken Fromm, who had invited Williams to the meeting, called him and told him he must never mention this new discovery--that the US government had classified it and was ordering it capped. It is still being held off the market and is not part of the environmental lock-down of oil in the Arctic National Wilderness. Williams was given a British Petroleum memoranda [probably by Fromm] which related the statements of upper echelon oil officials from Arco which said that Gull Island would be kept under wraps, limiting domestic supplies so Americans would someday see prices hit up to $10 a gallon at the pump.

Lindsey Williams decided to violate that informal ban and publish a book, The Energy Non-Crisis, about the scandal. Ken Fromm was finally fired by Atlantic Richfield for allowing Williams in on the meeting and for helping correct technical details in Williams' book. He told Williams that the Powers That Be were making sure his book would be suppressed and would not get any establishment media coverage.

Here's an excerpt from Chapter 17 The Energy Non-Crisis. The entire book is online and on U-tube videos: http://educate-yourself.org/cn/lindsywil...

  4. our government is doing it all...not rocket science to figure that out

  5. Actually, privatizing the government may not be such a bad idea for the sake of financial efficiency. As long as there are checks and balances. How 'bout this?  Currently, only 21 cents of each dollar paid in to Social Security actually reaches a recipient. The rest is lost in administration and corruption.

  6. Yes, I believe so.

To the poster above me.  Are you insane?  Seriously?  How could you think it was a good idea?

  7. debts like that just don't appear out of nowhere. the abundance of money spent on other countries doesn't help too much when your own country is the one that needs help.

  8. Pretty much, looks that way don't it? I don't really see how this could be an accident, I believe we've all seen it coming for some time. I believe there was somebody in charge, who knew just what was going on, and even "He" was following orders, from somebody really "Big". The Rantings of a Loon you say? Yeah, Pretty much, to some, not really, to others.

  9. Could be, in the future there might not even be countries but companies who rule everything.
