  1. No, I'm pretty sure whatever they do is to get more viewers so they can make more money. They're not crazy evil empire like in movies where money come out of no where.

  2. All the time.

If the media story evokes a negative emotion, such as fear, then that is a red flag.  There is a real good chance that some form of deception is involved.  Check your source:  if it is from the American media then it is suspect.  The American media is regarded as the National Enquirer of news and is ALL regarded as sensationalistic yellow journalism.  The CBC, sometimes the BBC, and the internet (selectively) are more reliable sources.

  3. It's an entertainment industry.  They are more concerned with ratings rather than reporting the actual news.

  4. h**l ya!!    don't beleive everything!! 2 sides to every story!!

  5. Yes.

Ever since chisel met granite, people with power have used the "News" as propaganda to further their goals.  Whether it is simply detailing a particular politicians actions on a daily basis or planting the seed of doubt about a particular idea.

The LA times, Fox News, The New York times etc, have a very noticeable ideological direction.  Most major media outlets have relationships with preferred political parties.  Some columnists have strong connections to a particular commercial industry in which they promote different products or industrial trends.

The best thing you can do is educate yourself constantly about everything that interests you and always question the motive behind a story especially when it is promoting a social agenda.

  6. ABSOLUTELY.

deception. lies. fabrication. sensationalizing of non important stuff as a distraction tool.

check out things online with tittles and categories such as:

hidden, suppressed, banned, illegal, conspiracy, etc.

use these as key words for p2p and bit torrent. LOTS of very interesting things you will find out.

good luck, people, on waking up from "the Matrix."

  7. They have to do that as they must stick to strict government security protocols. As most people don"t realize most media outlets have a form which contains all the things they can or cannot release to the public. These government security protocols must be enforced or certain people in the media may loose there jobs or even worst.

  8. You mean like support wars, vote a certain way, make things an issue, etc...

Of course they do you dumb azz moron, only a simpleton would ask this question.  Christ you are so effing stupid.
