  1. hopefully not cuz imma vegeterian and i recycle but i kinda think they do cuz they don't eat any meat which can kill the land that we live on so i kinda think they do but im not really sure

  2. yes, because most vegetarians are REs (radical environmentalists). REs created global warming as a form of fear, so therefore, vegetarians have caused global warming, or rather the belief in Global Warming! : )

    *Down with Big Brother*

  3. Nope.  As Dana said, the livestock industry is actually one of the major contributors to global warming, as well as other environmental problems.  Besides greenhouse gas emissions, the livestock industry uses more land than just growing crops for human consumption, thus leading to deforestation, and uses more of other resources like water.

EDIT:  CO2, cattle just wouldn't be bred and raised if it weren't for the demand for meat.

  4. Nope.  Because it's been scientifically proven that it's mostly caused by man made greenhouse gases, mostly produced by burning fossil fuels.

  5. No,they didn't cause it because its climate change not gw.But they contribute just as much as the next person,

  6. i seriously hope not because im a vegetarian.no they dont because if they arent eating meat then less animals will be raised for slaughter and land for  that will decrease therefore more land to grow trees and plants to help STOP global warming.

  7. It isn't so much the C in the CO2 as it is the O.

Scientists now know that there is twice as much of the O as there is the C.

When extra vegetables (often laden with bacteria) are produced, this leaves these half-molecule O products which give off heat energy as they bond with other Os.  This can happen just as easily in the polar regions as at the equator. I won't go into too much detail on this but these findings are backed by thinking scientists everywhere.  This was known by German scientists during WW11.  Hitler himself refused to eat meat.

  8. The vegetarians aren't eating their proper share of beef and are thus increasing the number of methane-spewing cows in the world which cause global warming.

  9. No, I don't.  Why?  I'd put the blame on places like Wal-Mart who import far too many plastic goods from China, therefore, I don't see how vegetarians or vegans contribute to global warming.  Unless. of course, their refusal to wear or consume animal products is the reason why China has been placed on a wholesale pedestal of low priced & highly disposal PLASTIC merchandise! Plastic emits toxins during manufacturing.  Those toxins circle the earth & fill our air & added to all the other GUNK, it's definately not helping the problem!

Then there's the subject of AIR FLOW & JET STREAMS that move poor air around our planet.

In other words, I don't know.  I have MANY theories though!

  10. WHAT DRUGS ARE YOU ON??? Vegetarians greatly reduce the Co2 gases being emitted into the atmosphere. Look at all the food that is grown for animals so people can eat the animals. All the grains and beans fed to livestock could feed 1.3 billion people. 16 pounds of corn and whaet produce 1 pound of meat. 2500 gallons of water to prduce 1 pound of meat. 50% of water consumption is used for livestock production. Think of all the gas being used to run farm equipment just for meat consumption. Check out this website www.meetyourmeat.com

  11. No, no, no.

Veggies are more concerned about the enviornment.

    Organic...

  12. No.  Livestock cause 18% of human greenhouse gas emissions.  By not eating meat, vegetarians contribute less to global warming than those who eat meat.

  13. No, global warming is caused by the SUN.

    EDIT:

By the way, cows are carbon neutral, if they didn't eat the grass, it would just generate methane from decomposition, my, my my, some of you are hopelessly brain washed.
