  2. no it is people having s*x with multiple partners and not being responsible that is the cause,

  3. Uhhh....yeah, except the Catholic Church also frowns on multiple sexual partners, and pre-marital s*x.

  4. No, of course not. Don't believe everything you read.

  5. No, ignorant people who don´t use protection and have multiple partners are to blame, regardless of their religion.

  6. No, just stupid people to dumb to cover up.

  7. I blame the Mo's for starting this epedemic not any church.

  8. It's a valid arguement, but I agree with one of her respondents regarding her half truths. It is not just the Catholic church, every denomination in one fashion or another, discourage premarital s*x, as it is their job to uphold the moral fiber of their congregation with spiritual influence. And in a perfect society, their followers listen. But we're not a perfect society. The real problem comes when churches don't cover the other half of that moral upholding: working hand in hand with communities to educate about s*x early on. If adolescents were encouraged to not to be ashamed of their bodies, or their feelings for that matter, at the same time taught that it is something to be respected, they'll be less likely to treat it like the carnival's in town.

Churches need to step up and teach in the real world as it stands in the here and now. And what 's now, what's real is HIV among other diseases, pregnancy, and god knows what's next, and the afflicted are getting younger and younger. And if the churches won't do it, then the schools need to do it, and the community centers need to do it - because it's an overall health issue (physical, mental and emotional) more than anything else.

So old girl hold fast to her arguement all the h**l she wants, but the truth of the matter is the responsibility is more on us to come up with solutions instead of just blaming an institution for your personal immobility.

  9. Right. Since abstinence is the cause of AIDS.

  10. Yours is an utterly absurd question.  You refer to a blog for information!  That makes me question your intelligence or motives for posting such a question.

Aids is a virus transferred from monkeys to man in Africa.  It spread from there, by homosexuals.

  11. yeah - it couldn't possibly be the fault of people putting themselves at risk.

  12. No, bisexual men are the culprits.

  13. That is obsurd.  There is also the Christian principle of abstenence until marriage.  If this principle was follwed there would be virtualy no worry about contracting AIDS.

So don't try and blame Chrisitanity or the Catholic Church - look to the secular progressive lifestyles that so many have adopted that throws morals out the window.

  14. No

I think people having unprotected s*x and sharing needles is the reason why so many have hiv/aids

  15. No.

Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:

    1. Single people should be celibate.

    2. Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).

    3. Married couples should welcome God's gift of children and, therefore, artificial birth control is against the will of God.

If the world is going to ignore teachings about chastity (1 & 2), then why is the world so upset about teaching artificial birth control (3)?

People who are already ignoring the more important teachings about chastity (1 and 2) should have no problem ignoring the less important teaching of artificial birth control (3).

Even if a person infected with AIDS was to use a condom to help protect his or her spouse, condoms are not 100% effective (read the box) and the spouse may be infected and die anyway. A person who truly loves their spouse would not endanger them in this way.

In regards to s*x outside of marriage, the Church makes it a practice not to tell people how to sin. Fornication with or without a condom is still fornication. Adultery with or without a condom is still adultery.

    With love in Christ.

  16. It could be for example...all of the catholic priest who rape the little altar boys, you know that the catholic church is opposed to using birth control like condoms. I wonder how many of these pedophile and q***r catholic priest had HIV/AIDS?

  17. I dont see how...you cant get aids from masturbation

  18. I think it contributes to it, yes.

    VLR

  19. That is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard.  And I live in New Jersey (home of the dumb@ss Jon Corzine!)
