  1. Normally no, but there are a lot of monkeys in this group :)

  2. Yes, because it seems like it is really true.

  3. I'm having a good laugh at some of the answers here. Of course I believe in evolution.

Lise, who says cheetahs will not become faster. Evolution takes thousands of years. Man is only capable of measuring their speed in the last hundred or so years.

Cancer is actually cells in your own body that goes "nuts" and gets bigger than they should be and then start to consume the others. Therefore your body cannot produce it's anti cancer cells because to your immune system they look the same. Your immune system only develops counter measures against foreign DNA. As for rape, it is obvious that unlike in SA the vast majority of women do not get raped and therefore do not develop the traits you want them to have.

Hennie, I can take all your points on, but to keep it short I will take one. Through DNA testing it can be proven that all the humans walking today on the Earth come from roughly two thousand  individuals which with genetic markers in our genes can be traced back to roughly 60 000 thousand years. So there were not a stable population of 10 million around for thousands of years and thus far fever skeletons to be found than the 8 billion cited. Furthermore if skeletons are not buried in the perfect conditions, they deteriorate within a thousand years to nothing, except for maybe a few teeth.

Further more to the doubters, the human race are getting bigger and taller. From skeletal evidence and historic records, it can be seen that even a mere hundred and fifty years ago, very few humans reached the hight of six feet. Today it is percentage wise very common.

  4. No because rape is as old as man himself, why has a woman not "evolved" a set of teeth in her cervix to protect herself for instance from rape, or why do women still give birth so difficultly, surely by now our pelvises should have evolved to let the baby pass out more easily? And for instance apes, why are they still "stupid"? Why have we not evolved a set of cells to protect us from cancer, why do we still get holes in our teeth from eating too much sugar? Why can a cheetah still only maintain a top speed of 120kmph, surely if it could it could run faster? No I do not believe in evolution.

  5. Yes, its based on scientific evidence.

Creationists are dying out as more and more evidence proves how ridiculous that notion is.

  6. Yes, but I do not think that they have worked out everything yet as some would have us believe. That Intelligent Design stuff is just a load of unscientific rubbish. I never understand why evolutionists and religious people fight so much, underlying the religion is just a symbology that can actually equate with science.

NB When I see people like D405 I do think that evolution may be flawed a little however!!!

Yippee for Darth, I checked Hennie's links out, what a load of rubbish that eleven things to diprove evolutionists, well 9 of them had nothing to with evolution in the first place- more like geology.

  7. If evolution had any truth at all then we would be seeing every evolutionary stage from monkey to man as living relics walking around evolving, we have monkeys and we have humans but nothing in between, why is that?

Man has all ways been man, never a monkey or some other animal, he has been Man going through a period of adaptation and mental development.

    Edit..

Have any dinosaurs remains ever been found in the middle East, maybe they all died out before man came out onto the land and started to subdue it and fill the earth..maybe they are mentioned but by another name, have you looked?

    EDIT Hennie.

    Thanx great sites.

  8. Yes, evolution is built on evidence on this planet, evidence that will not go away. There are holes in both evolutionists and creationists theories and they have argued over it fiercely, but the massing evidence from paleontology, genetics, zoology, molecular biology and other fields gradually established evolution's truth beyond reasonable doubt. I for one believe it should not be written out of school text books.

  9. Nope, not at all.

The links that I have provided are scientific, and not somebody's imagination.

    Read them.

Brad Morris: Dinosaurs are indeed found in the Bible, just not under that name as ''dinosaur'' was first coined in 1849 by Darwin.

Read the following: There are a number of places where it appears that dinosaurs or other similar creatures are mentioned in the scriptures. Remember that the Bible was translated into English long before the word "dinosaur" was coined. However, the word "dragon" appears 21 times in the Old Testament alone. "You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall you trample under feet" (Psalm 91:13). From the context it is clearly speaking about a real creature that it would be impressive and intimidating to step on! Jeremiah 51:34 tells, "he has swallowed me up like a dragon..." which brings to mind the way many carnivorous reptiles swallow their prey whole. Both dragons of the sea (Psalm 74:13) and field (Isaiah 43:20) are mentioned. Indeed, Genesis 1:21 can best be translated: "And God created great sea monsters..." One such sea monster became sufficiently well-known to the ancients to be given the special name "Rahab" (Isaiah 51:9). The prophet Ezekiel likens Pharaoh to a sea monster that invaded the Nile river and stirred up the mud (32:2). The Hebrew word, "Tannin," is from the root meaning "to extend." The language conjures up an image of a long-necked plesiosaur-like creature paddling up the river and stirring up mud from the Nile delta with its flippers. Just such a creature is depicted by the ancient Egyptians who may have netted one just as Ezekiel describes in verse 3.

  10. Of course not!

  11. Theory? What theory? Science has PROVEN it thousands of times even within a person's lifetime, in animals and plants.\\\

Of course, science has, through irrefutable age testing proven connections and evolutions and mutations.

  12. Yes.

  13. Yes, it is all credible.

  14. sORRY hONEY BUT i DO NOT BELIEVE IN IT!!!!

OOPS I forgot I had the caps on!!!xxxx

  15. No, they still have not found the 'missing link'

Evolution is still a THEORY, there is no concrete proof. As credible as it sounds, nobody can say that it is true.

Conservative Chris describes the missing link...

So many skeletons and mummies have been found, but none that ultimately link us to them.

In fact they have found a human (Homo Sapien) scull that is much older and goes against the entire concept of evolution.

And all these *ologists are constantly competing with one another and many have been caught manipulatig evidence and data. As in the case of Lucy dear.

So typical of people. They are so quick to be convinced and believe anything long before there is any solid proof.

  16. One question for the Creationists: Why are the dinosaurs not in the Bible?

  17. Nope not at all! My points are exactly the same as Res and Lise K's.

  18. Yup! Sure, why not?!
