yeah, i sure can happen. but i think the guy should be careful, well anyone should, when trying to do an online dating thing. because everyone online i snot just one person. the internet is full of personalities and what not. but i don think it is possible for a guy to fall in love with a girl over the internet.

It helps if the the guy has met the girl. you cant really know someone unless you talk to them face to face. net emotions are nothing compared to real emotions... It's hard to express you true feeling over the web. I wouldn't trust him to tell you he loves you when he only talks to you over the internet

I say you should meet up with him first. So he can check who you really are and you can check him out too.

You can't love someone you never met. How do you know they didn't lie to you about things about themselves. It is impossible unless they meet.
