Do you believe the scientific theory that all humans came from Africa ? If so, how did racial difference come about, if there were no other humans created, by God ?

  1. According to the King James version of the "Bible" and a closer look at the genetics of humans, you will see there are three genes, Black, Yellow, and White.  Prejudiced views are a learned behavior, not natural. Let the Bible read to you!

  2. The Bible or Torah doesn't say what color God made people.  It could have been 2 different toned skins.  The garden of Eden was in that area also.  After the flood when the families spread out there were different environments which didn't require their skin to hold on to the darker pigmentation.

Genetic mutations can also be possibilities.

  3. No.  Neither do all anthropologists or biologists (see link).  Early ancestors may have left remains in Africa, but that doesn't make it the origin.

  4. You need to put this in the R/S section.  You are obviously trying start a digression between evolution and creationism. I believe in science, they have proof.

  5. I believe Pangea plays an effect in this.  Before the land split so much would be why there were people on North America even before Christopher Columbus discovered America.  Racial differences came about from different living styles, languages, and demographics.  And if you're bringing God into the subject, When they tried to build the tower to reach God, God got angry and made it so that they could not understand each other, which caused the different languages; which caused them to pair off with people they could understand; which in turn forced them to seperate into different provinces, tribes, and or states/countries.

  6. If we started out the result of incestuous relationships, why would WE still be punished for "original sin"?  After all, it was god's idea.  As for starting in Africa - I'm not buying that either.  As I understand it, there was no Africa in the beginning - there was one huge land mass until plate tectonics shifted chunks in different directions.  I would think that if we all started in one place - our DNA would be a lot more similar.

The problem with these theories is that you have the scientific and anthropological communities spending a lot of time and brain power pondering very big answers with very little evidence.

  7. No i don't

  8. Yes, it has been proven via DNA. (Check out "The Genographic Project" by National Geographic). Racial differences came into being by mutation of the DNA.

Uh...as for throwing "God" into the theory, you'll have to figure out where you faith fits in with the science.

  9. Yes, it was proven with DNA that humans originated in Africa.

Racial difference is a mutation of DNA.

They didn't mention God in the article I read.

  10. as far as i know, all humans came from the middle east or thereabouts - racial difference is very easy to explain if you believe in Gd - ever heard of the tower of babel? all the humans in the world (not that many at the itme) built a tower to try and get to Gd and Gd mixed up all the languages so that they couldnt understand each other therefore they failed - is in the bible - language as such is the most important factor in differentiating between races and it then goes on to say that ''they spread to the four corners of the world'' and this is where i believe different cultures/ races started.

but then again i believe in religion......

  11. I believe we all came from Adam and Eve. When God told Noah he was going to flood the earth, Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives were saved from the flood waters by the ark. After the flood went down, they went their separate ways to replenish the earth. Each couple went to different parts of the world. They had children and their children probably married their siblings who then married their cousin/siblings. After a while of marrying back into the same family, you'd have facial similarities. God also guided Noah and his sons to certain parts of the world where they would apapt better to the weather because of their skin tone, eye color, etc. That is how different varitities of people came above.

EDIT@ Ladaline: She right about how we got all our different languages.

Watch how many thumbs down I will get because I mention God.

  12. I really couldn't care less whether we came from africa, norway, or any other country

  13. no... every day they find a new fossil that throws every thing they know back a few thousand years... we don't half as much as we think we do!!!

  14. it's the first time i'm  hearing of it; but i don't understand why everyone would come from africa...it's just very random.
