Do you believe there's ANY truth to ANY of the movies on the Sci Fi channel?

Any time I've tried to watch one..I can't.They seem so far fetched...and ridiculous.

Deenie, I'm pretty sure the movies on Sci-Fi are all horror/sci-fi movies, not intended to be documentaries. Some of them are dumb, but sometimes I enjoy a hokey horror movie if there's not too much gore.

I must admit I am not a science fiction fan, there is reason behind the name science FICTION

I just answered this question, so I'll have to tap into one of my multiple personalities to provide a different perspective.

I suppose in a sense you could say some of those movies were loosely based on what is accepted as truth by some people. They were then treated liberally with special effects and artistic license. The end result is a new art form. It's the "so bad it's good" entertainment concept.
