Why do you think Adam & Eve were running around naked? It's because it was so hot the clothes would stick to their skin. They had to get rid of the clothes. till one day it started to get cold, then they used a fig leaf to keep warm! How many agree? You get 2 points for right answer.

They didn't know they were naked as there was nothing for them to base their opinions on, they were just there.  When they get kicked out of the garden it was then that they noticed they were naked and they made clothes.  The fig leaves you see in pictures are simply to protect the modesty.
