Do you believe there will ever be peace?

If you people are any indication of real life how can there be peace? I see nothing but hate,yet there is no holy book that teaches hate. You folks are so hateful and ill informed about reality it is scary. You deny anything that goes against your pre concieved notions,you deny facts as if your life depends on denial of reality. Do you believe you can really exist if you deny facts?

If you are talking about the Jewish people, then yes I do think they can exist. Who says we are denying facts? The facts are that for centuries - despite fierce opposition and terrible treatment - we have survived. Not only have we survived we have excelled. If that isn't the one thing that galls people most I am not sure what is. Through out all the persecution etc. we have always recovered and come back stronger than ever. L'chaim, To Life -

Our existence is proof of G-ds covenant with the people of Israel. Who created the conflict anyways. The British. It's almost always the Western culture that has caused a rift between any group of people. Arabs got along fine with Israelis until England decided to make Israel an issue of land rights and who got what when they left. Just like this country- we go into a country and cause chaos and destruction and then shrug our shoulders and say gee.. I don't know what happened.

No, at least not in the lifetime of anyone who has already been born. Perhaps a few generations from now, but not soon.

The reason is that the extremist Arabs and Muslims who are now in power will not allow it. They want Israel wiped off the face of the earth. They also want all Jews dead. They are unwilling to compromise on that.

Unless they are replaced by reasonable Arabs and Muslims, there will be a continuation of the hatred and mass murders that we have seen.

I am constantly hearing that the Muslim religion is one of peace and beauty and other good things. The reality is that there is a constant stream of horrible things being done in the name of their religion. That must stop for me to believe anything good about the religion.

As long as a group of people is willing to do unspeakable things in the name of their cause, there will not be peace.

Only in the aftermath of a successful  revolution,for the reasons you cite. Zionists live in a dream world; you can't make a country and a people go away with legalisms. Nobody today cares what the Mighty Ducks of the UN said back in 1947. I see no need to give half of Palestine to a bunch of psychos,and they aren't going to share. If they have to be ousted from the WB by force you might as well go all the way to tel Aviv. Peace through victory,there is no other way.

This is a classic example of how the world too sees it.

Answering these questions you'll find many Jew/Israel haters, most are informed by newspapers and TV, they know nothing of what is really going on, many are Arabs from the USA some from Europe.

Just last week a hater asked people in Ramadan site to come help them out, most have cloned themselves and  they ask obnoxious questions and give hate answers, anyone that stays for a while can tell the difference.

Israel does not want peace because:

Peace is against Israel objectives.

Israel established on expansion theorem,tell now no map draw the border of it.

Israel is military country not civil country.

Israel speak only one language(force language).

All Israeli leaders and their people does,nt want peace.

No, there will never be world peace because there is too much of hate, prejudice, difference of opinion, etc...

Most people don't want to change for the good because they think that what they are is good enough and if others can not accept that then it's ok.  It is not ok.  You should always try to better yourself.

Religion is also a big part of it.  There are just too many different thoughts of everything for people to agree on the same thing.

Before I started answering in Y!A Israel Category, I use to believe in a two-state solution. After spending some time in this forum and seeing all the hatred and incredible lies that Muslims spread throughout the world about Israel and IDF, I no longer see any peace solution.

Muslims pose as Americans, Europeans, Jews and even rabbis to show that there are more people against Israel than there actually are. They are so poor at being impostors and are quite transparent. They have no respect for a question and rant and rave with an answer that has nothing to do with the question at hand. They insult and openly use words derogatorily like : jews, jus, zionist, israel, israeli "israel".  They deny Israel's right to exist and deny that it is on a map.  I have learned to do the same - now I deny "palestine" too.  If one is going to be denied, so should the other.

All of the above makes me realize that there is a very strong wave of propaganda that has become collective consciousness.  They spread false propaganda through fabricated YouTube videos, photo montages, made-up headlines and articles, and exaggerated stories. They have multiple accounts and they block Jewish people in order to not give them a chance to give their point of view. That shows that they are not willing to negotiate but rather reinforce their own convictions.  I, being Israeli, have not blocked a single participant, but I have been blocked by most Muslims and their supporters.  Yet they feel free to intrude not only on my questions, but in the Israel Category as a whole.  They will report any of my answers if they are not pleasing to them. The above are a clear sign of invasion or lack of respect.

From a more serious perspective, the fact that Muslims support terrorist groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad, who launch rockets into south Israel on a daily basis and attempt to send in suicide bombers, which Israel stops through walls and checkpoints, (that is Muslims interpretation of "occupation.")  The fact that they dance and hand out candy in the streets whenever they kill Israelis makes me realize that they hate Jewish people, particularly Israelis, and it is they who don't want peace. They call Hamas "freedom fighters" and support their terror even though Israel withdrew from Gaza in the year 2005, which they deny.

After all of this deception I think many Muslims are not to be trusted and I would not want them living side by side with Israel. They do not know how to behave courteously. Muslims living in Judea and Samaria should be deported because they are not to be trusted and they are not welcome. Perhaps they can be absorbed by Muslim countries.

I'd like to believe there could be peace, that we could all get to that place. What looks like hate is usually fear. One-on-one people usually do fine together. We have the potential to LOVE everyone.

People shouldn't put religion aside, don't tell anyone that! It is what binds us.  Peace can be attained if we concentrate on what two people have in common, instead of the differences.

One religion needs to be modernized to fit into rest of world.  Judaism is the oldest religion out of the 3, and Christianity had some "issues" then overcame them and  modernized, ok Islam your turn.  Really, I insist, it's your turn.

Take the hate out of islam then see what there is left that we have in common. There are good core values that we can share.

There could be peace tomorrow if the terror child killing group called Hamas would give up their evil ways.  That easy. Otherwise only when they are eliminated completely will peace prvail. Maybe a week a month a year. But certainly in time, like the IRA elimination  in Ireland ,good will conquer evil.

It is impossible to mediate such discussion. I have been called so many nasty things by non Muslims when I try and resolve a situation.

Last night I was in a chat room and when I mentioned that I was Muslim I was called a "raghead" and held responsible for the 911 attacks.

Most of the Muslim world does not support the actions of the terrorist Bin Laden.

We need to put religion aside to sort out the differences. Most of these differences have political agenda's and religion is just the scape goat.
