Question:

Do you believe this? My sister got "attacked" by a spirit!?

Apparently, in St. Augustine's restaurant Harry's, there is a spirit that dwells in the women's bathroom that does not like cursing. My sister went up there and just randomly said curse words to try to provoke it to see if anything would happen (we've heard many stories of people getting slapped, thrown down stairs, etc. by a spirit). Nothing happened, and she got angry, and was like "You know what, this is c**p, if you're there, bring it on you...." and she used a few choice words. My sister told me that then, the whole floor started vibrating as if there was a jackhammer right next to her, and that she heard what sounded like the stomping of high heels heading towards her, and she felt like someone grabbed her by the hair at the nape of her neck. She said she bolted out of the door and ran for it, and had a headache for hours afterward.

How likely is this? I believe her, I just want to know if you do, and if things like this happen often...

  1. I believe her.  I've seen so many of those paranormal shows on TV that I'm totally convinced now.  You should write one of the show's producers and tell them about this place.  They'll probably want to check it out, especially if there's already all these stories surrounding it.  By the way, tell your sister not to worry about being 'cursed' or anything - I'm sure the headache was it; but, boy, was she bold.

  2. She disturbed a spirit,

It tried to let her stop gave her a warning you can't help it.

  3. I'd like to know exactly what she was smoking...it sounds like pretty interesting stuff.

  4. yup, i do, i got attacked myself too while i was asleep. in my dream something tried to wake me up because it was trying to warn me. when i did an ornament above my head rose up and suddently came down on my head. i felt my head and i was bleeding. but then i just went back too sleep, i guess i was really tired. in the morning i had a big cut on my head

  5. I live in N. Fl....but we haven't been to St. Augustine in years. Now that I know more about the paranormal...it might be interesting to go. Except, I seem to "pick up" spirits and  bring them home! Not on purpose. This happened at churches a lot. I don't know your sister...so I have no idea if she's telling the truth. But, I do believe it could have happened.

  6. i sounds pretty creepy, i am a strong believer in supernatural things and spirits.

  7. Yes very likely, she did something nobody unless ready for the fight should do: PROVOKE THE SPIRIT. NEVER EVER do that unless you know you can see, hear, and fight against the spirit. But from what youve told me sounds more like a demon than a spirit.

  8. NOOO!

  9. Could have happened. How many drinks did she have at Harry's, what were they and were other drugs involved?

  10. If she messed around with someone else's boyfriend and didn't want to admit it, then she could have chose a better story to tell you.

  11. why in the world do living people like to provoke intense feeling to those who are passed on?  it is like rattling a lions cage.  not safe and not smart.  tell her to research and study before she gets hurt or hurts someone else.

  12. Yes these things do happen.  My number one rule is "Never challenge a spirit to a fight",  your going to lose every time.  I have had ghosts grab me, throw stuff at me and generally mess you by breaking  your stuff.    Don't do anything to the dead that you wouldn't do to the living.  You really don't want to p**s them off, they got nothing else to do but get back at you.  Its not like they have a day job or need sleep.

  13. Love your story!LOL! I got attacked by a man in a Freddy Kruger suit in a holloween party!

  14. Wow, that will teach her not to cuss up a storm.

    God bless!

  15. well she could have, good question,
