ahha tell the guy to try to take a hit by a 300 + linemen that runs a 5.0  40 or cath a footabll over the middle like Irvin did when it ended his career. ya baseball is hard tobut dont make it seem liek baseball is the hardest sport. and  yes anyoen can catch a football field a grown ball, or shoot a basket but not everyoen can do it with consistency.

Well, people who are good at basketball have good coordination right? I have played baseball (no previous experience) and because of basketball instincts i was a good fielder. it's not that hard.

Good baseball players on the other hand are asked to trry to shoot baskets, and most of them shoot like 5 year olds, not to mention the fact that they couldn't shoot in a game

He's right and wrong.  Yes anyone can catch a football or put a ball through the hoop but can he catch a football with a 270 pounds linebacker right on his face?  Can he put a ball in the hoop with Shaq on his face?  I doubt it.  Although it is tough catching a groundball travelling 100mph that might bounce up anytime.

You can kind of say that about any sport. Anyone can catch a baseball at a high speed, but it takes some serious practice to do it well. Just like it does to put a basketball in a hoop or receive a 40 yard pass with a defender in your face.

You do any of those things 7 days a week and your legs will be dead.

Not everyone can catch a football and put a basketball into the net, if that was true, than most people would be GOOD basketball and football players!

hes right only on the part where he says not anyone can field a ground ball.  of course if you dont play baseball itll be hard to catch a ground ball coming hard at you.  

its like that for every sport.  if you dont play basketball, youre not going to dribble the ball and make it in the hoop if you have someone guarding you up close.

if you dont play football, youre not going to be able to run the routes and catch the ball from different angles with all the defenders crowding the area.

just tell him, well anyone can swing a bat around and hit a ball, and that anyone can stand around at a base or out on the field and chew tobacco for most of the game.
