  1. This can only be true if there is no morality and all actions are therefore permissible. For instance this would permit the killing of an old lady to take her place in a bus queue.


  2. In some cases, but generally not. There are far too many circumstances where the means just don't justify the end, and very few circumstances in which they do.

  3. Absolutely not. That allows for the by-passing of all ethical considerations, many of which are also legal considerations.

    The means justify the end, not the other way around, or man would have wiped his own species off the face of the earth millenia ago.

  4. When they say the ends justifies the means it is really stupid beasue included in that end is the fact that you did what you did to get to that end. You might live happily ever after but if you killed or hurtsomeone to do it, then thats still part of the end.
