I don't care what you call it or how you think about it: energy, soul, spirit, etc. I'm just curious.

  1. I do believe that we continue to exist after our bodies can longer contain our energy, soul or what ever you believe it to be called.  It would be sad to think that we just end.  Have a good evening.

  2. I do. I just don't think it'll be anything like this life.

I am only guessing. Nobody knows for sure, no matter what they say.

  3. YEP!

  4. Yes I do.  I do not know exactly how, but I don't think something can turn to nothing with the energy of spirit.  As physical matter composts and changes form, I believe the spirit does as well.  I am christian.

  5. "If I thought there was a whole other life after this one, I'd kill myself right now."

Seriously, I doubt it. If there is some kind of continued existence, my bet is it's cyclical.

  6. Yes we do but not as gods on other planets

  7. Sleeping until the voice of Jesus calls us to come forth at the resurrection.

John 5:28,29 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

1Corinthians 15:51-57 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
