  1. i think thats a myth..i mean i dont think it can predict the future

all dreams are is ur subconcious thinking..

meaning it wont tell u anything that u dont already know..like dreams about falling usually mean a fear or regret of failure.

  2. hope not then that will complicate things

  3. YES YES YES

    i god dam hope so...

do you wanna know something about controlling your dreams... you dont have to believe it?

basically, when your in your nice dream land, if you can try and focus on your hands during your dreams you will have a great surprise. you will look at your hands and they will start to melt or go funny colours. if you can withstand looking at your hands for 10 seconds without waking up, you have passed the most difficult test. from then on you can control your dreams. you will be able to draw a door on a war and walk through it...

this is true, you just have to try, it will take a good couple of attempts... good luck

this technique was used by many famous surrealism artists who decided to paint their dreams.

  4. Absolutely, your dreamscape is a window into your mind, it helps you sort through all of the experiences stored up.  We take in so much information that something we may normally dismiss as unimportant can be picked up and come through in your dreams.  An example would be a friend deceiving you, whether you realise it or not you will have picked up fine details about that person and you may well dream about a situation where you are being lied to or something is hurting you.  It’s your minds way of figuring this out.  If you’re attuned to it your dreams can really help your life.

I once dreamt of loosing my job and a week later I was made redundant, there had been no warnings but from the dream I was prepared for something to happen, this wasn’t fortune telling but working through little signs I had picked up and them surfacing in a dream.  Dreams can be a great tool for life but we have to know how to sort through the junk and they are always very person specific so that’s where dream diaries help especially if you aren’t good at remembering them.

  5. Yes they can they can show you the futur and the can show you your present.

  6. I think dreams are there to sort out our lives. We dream solutions sometimes. Some of the dreams mean nothing merely information mixed in with other stuff - for example if you have seen a horror film and it impressed you, it will come into a dream somewhere - well bits of it. It is all down to the deep memory etc.

  7. What you have been going through, What you are thinking about in the day or what happened.

  8. Definitly. Not all Dreams ofcourse. But I feel like some of the Dreams I've had, have helped me in some ways. You just have to try to find the right ,um..message i guess i could call it, and relate.Sometimes they show you how you feel instead. But sometimes they're just straight out of your Life, like, what you watched on T.V. or something i guess. Here's a site i sometimes find usefull when i freak-out 'cuz of some Dreams, haha,(but i thinkit mostly is about how you feel, not the other kind of interpreting):

  9. yes.. because sometimes my dreams makes sense and tells me signs that something will happen in the future, a few of my dreams came true.. not all..

  10. Sometimes

  11. i do believe that dreams tell you your future.

me and my mum have dreams that come true or we get bad pains in the stomache before somthing bad happens and it always happens.

i also see dead people who need to pass over.

freaky ha and im only 19. HELP! lol

  12. Well, since dreams are the subconscious' way of threading through various events and information, I think stuff that comes up can potentially be useful because the nature of the subconscious is stuff you haven't really thought through.

  13. yes i do. your dreams are normally of your emotions. but if they are something that wasnt in your head before then look out the future might have given you a glimpse of what to expect.

  14. yes onne time i had a dream and my friend said ill be ok its you im worried about you always so depressed you never be happy and worry so much i got to be happy but you never did i hope you do 3 days later she died she had cancer but i had that dream and 3 days later she died weird or what

  15. Yes I do.  Many times I've fallen asleep pondering a situation and wake up with a solution.

  16. It's widely agreed that dreams are not interpretations of the future, however, dreams are the subconsciousness's way of finding relief. Sometimes if you look at your dreams you may see something that you are worrying about that perhaps you do not know is stressing you so badly. For instance, a few nights ago I had a dream that my father was coughing up blood, it scared the c**p out of me. Today my dad is going in for an test to see if he has lung cancer - so the dream could be telling me one of two things 1- that I am afraid of my dad getting sick or 2- that subconsciously I already know my father is sick and that I need to recognize this ...

Never take a dream to seriously though, those who get lost in the dream world seldom live in the real world to their fullest potential.

  17. totally dude! i have been logging my dreams for years.about 10yrs ago, my dreams were prophetic advice about 2yrs in advance.then 5yrs ago it was down to about 6months.now its anytime between the next day and 2weeks.i sometimes also 'see' a part of a scene, or person. i now realise that this is for healing, then i will see that person over the next few days, and be able to help in one way or another.

i get quite disapointed if i dont dream these days.

i dream in colour, with the warmth of the sun, i feel the wind, and get the emotions appropriate to the dream!!

  18. Yes, I do. Subconcious images can be signs of stress, angst, happiness, fear, etc. There are lots of Dream Pyschology books you get in gift stores or science museums.

  19. People say dreams are our way of making sense of our lives while we sleep.

I have yet to experience this.

However yes they can tell you useful things, some can enlighten subjects, give us ideas, and be predictive etc

If dreams werent of some use to us we wouldnt have them, the important thing to take into account here is how you translate the dream, what every little thing means whether it be in the world in general or to you personally.

  20. I hope not I haven't been having nice ones

  21. dreams are either latent or manifest. when we say latent, it means that your dream has some symbolic meaning which most of the time are caused by your repressed feelings. on the other hand, manifest exist when it shows you what you really wanted to see or happen in reality.

i believe it has some useful meanings in understanding our selves. besides nobody can deny that even the bible talks about dreams which Joseph interpreted for the king!

  22. I could help with the cure of many ailments through clues from dreams.  Dreams are as metaphysical as thoughts and mind and whatever the state the body is in, its metaphysical manifestation is the state of mind. In the sleeping state the same mind is manaifested like its shadow which is dream state.  Many mental functions are not manifest then, and therefore the dream functions are a million times less than the mind function at wakeful state.  It is easier therefore to analyse a dream than a mind.  Because it gives the metaphysical equivalence of only those body functions which takes place during the sleep and therefore the essential elements like Calcium, Salt, Potassium, Phosphorus, Magnesium etc.etc,. and their dysfunctions are mostly highlighted, apart from lingering thoughts caused by shocks, grief, anger etc which becomes cause for specific types of dreams.
