  1. I dunno, but if it is true, I believe it had a helping hand from a creator

  2. of course..it's not like scientists are figuring all these things out for a big joke just so people can laugh and say "HA! you're stupid for trying to learn!"... it's supported with loads of evidence... and i don't believe i came from a monkey either! although if i stopped bathing for 3 years and never shaved..i'd probably look like one. i never tried that before.

  3. Yes I definitely do, although I also believe in God, if you knew me I could really explain myself.

  4. Yes.

Humans accually used to be a whole lot shorter thousands of years ago. Like, on average, 4ft. And now, people are around 5'3"-6'3". Its not like God just decided one day, "I think I'm going to make people taller." They evolved.

Maybe you personally didn't, but evolution takes hundreds and thousands of years- so, you yourself didn't, but the human race did.

Just because you don't want to have evolved from an ape doesn't mean you didn't, because for all we know, we probably did.

But humans weren't always like this.

We evolved to suit our sourroundings.

    Thats just how it is.

If an enviorment changes, the things around it are going to also.

Yeah, I believe in God too, but really, Evolution is more believable.

  5. yes i do, same question, what came first, the chicken or the egg? that's why we are destroying the forest for apes, we are the better kind and we don't need them any more. its the way life works

  6. Evolution is a fact.  We see it every time a virus mutates, for instance.  We know life forms evolve, we can observe it happening in the lab, and we see evidence of it when new diseases appear.

As for evolution of higher life forms from long ago...  If you believe in intelligent design, how do you know that evolution isn't the tool that God uses to achieve that design?

  7. Different people have different beliefs. You may choose to believe in creationism or something else. But really, it's what you choose to believe.

Personally, I believe in the evolution. There are millions of years worth of evidence to support the evolution theory. Fossils provide inevitable information of our history, and of our ancestors. Yes, many people may not choose to believe that their GREAT GREAT GREAT GREATx 13 was indeed an ape. But look at the scientific facts.

  8. None of us can live long enough to see it, but evolution takes place every day, every year, every millenium.

And if you knew anything at all about biology, you would know that humans didn't evolve from monkeys.

I personally can't understand how someone might think we came from spit and mud. Duh!

  9. Yes I do, its actually more credible than creationism

  10. within a species, yes.  From one species to another, no.

We are a product of intelligent design.  We are the most advanced computers in the world, but think...

Can you put a bunch of metal and plastic in a bin for a million years and expect it to be a computer afterwards?  It doesn't make sense.

  11. NO! God created us all.  a few points:

-God didn't say anything in the bible about us being monkeys.

    - Just because we have thumbs doesn't mean anything [does that mean cats and dogs came from the same thing?]

-why haven't all the other monkeys evolved?

  12. I wouldn't say I 'believe' in evolution, but it certainly has a lot more plausibility than a big invisible monster creating man out of dirt & woman out of man's rib, only for aforesaid man & woman to get convinced by a talking snake that they should eat some magic fruit that aforementioned big invisible monster told them not to eat, even though for some reason he put it right in front of them in the first place.

To the first poster: what makes you think that apes don't have magnificent bodies? I find all bodies magnificent.

  13. Evolution makes perfect sense to me. I think people don't believe it because they don't understand it. I think the idea of a god creating everything and being omnicient is just ludicrious because the universe is not perfect! There are too many flawes in the arguments against evolution. Its a very interesting topic that is too detailed for yahoo answers! haha. Read some books and learn more about it, then you can make an educated decision! :)

  14. Of course I believe in Evolution, what kind of a silly question is this!?

Any other plausible theories out there?

    ......

    None?

    Oh ok...

    Evolution it is.

  15. no because God created us and the animals..we DIDNT come from them..those are my beliefs u know

  16. well idk but i do know that we are evolving in a cople  or thousan years people would not have an pendix and poeple now and day are getthing taller

  17. Actually humans did not descend from monkeys but from a common ape like ancestor just like monkeys did.We simply took different paths in the forest.Yes i do believe in it.I believe in it because there is sufficient evidence to prove it.Even if we did descend from an ape like ancestor we should not be ashamed of it because there is nothing to be ashamed of.We were a lot happier then then we are now i suspect.Fossils are much more credible then the written human words in the bible.

  18. No, because if we evolved over time, how are our bodies so complex we still haven't figured them out?

There's no way our bodies evolved.

If people have been the same for thousands of years, why haven't we evolved any more?

  19. No, I believe in the Bible God created Man.

  20. no.....the thought of evolution is ridiculous

  21. no god created adam and eve not monkeys that became them

  22. Yes, evolution has been scientifically proven in animals and insects.  In humans, evolutionary changes are much more subtle, so you won't see many changes over thousands of years.  Where and if god intervenes? That's another issue.  So yes it's theorized that man, the hominid, branched off an evolutionary chain from monkeys, but it's NOT a fact.  Since human evolution is a theory, i'm 50/50 between god and evolution.

  23. I am a christian yes, but I think that all religious beliefs should be considered and respected.  Even if you do not believe them, you should critique them.

There is a possibility that the athiests could be correct that humans evolved from monkeys lol, but who knows lol.

I know that God and Jesus existed so that's all that really matters to me.

  24. no because there is no way our magnificant bodies could have evolved from apes

  25. i strongly believe in Evolution, it was proved rigurously and scientifically since 150 years ago

  26. no i believe in creation evolution is jus a bunch of mumbo-jumbo!

  27. I don't answer that question the reason is that, I don't care... The point of Christianity is to accept Gods grace and to live accordingly. Whether or not evolution is true doesn't matter. If it is true it's because God ordained it. I do have an opinion on evolution vs creation but I don't share it.
